About the Role

We are seeking a highly capable Team Lead / PHP Architect to drive end-to-end software architecture, technical strategy, and project execution. In this role, you will act as the technical anchor for our development team, ensuring robust system design and high-quality code delivery. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate complex functional requirements into scalable technical solutions while actively mentoring engineers and unblocking technical bottlenecks.

Core Responsibilities

• System Architecture & Design: Conceptualise, design, and implement scalable, enterprise-grade architectures for complex PHP applications, ensuring high performance, security, and future readiness.
• Engineering Leadership & Delivery: Manage day-to-day development operations, oversee task allocation, define delivery milestones, and ensure features are shipped on time without compromising quality.
• Quality Assurance & Code Standards: Institutionalise engineering best practices. Conduct rigorous peer code reviews, optimise application performance, and systematically reduce technical debt.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary technical liaison for key business stakeholders and clients, effectively communicating technical roadmaps and project statuses to non-technical audiences.
• Mentorship & Team Development: Cultivate a culture of technical excellence. Mentor junior and mid-level developers, resolve complex technical roadblocks, and elevate the team’s overall engineering capabilities.

Qualifications & Technical Profile

• Experience: 8–10 years of progressive software engineering experience, with a proven track record in application architecture and team leadership.
• Core Technical Skills: Deep expertise in modern PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony) and advanced proficiency in database modelling (SQL/NoSQL).
• System Design: Strong understanding of modular design, microservices architectures, RESTful API design, and third-party integrations.
• Leadership Capabilities: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, manage sprints, and drive engineering deliverables to successful, on-time completion.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to lead client-facing meetings and stakeholder presentations.
• Availability: Must be available to join immediately and work full-time from our Andheri, Mumbai office.

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven IT Project Manager to oversee projects across Web Development, QA, System Administration, and Paid Media teams.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for project planning, task allocation, timeline management, team coordination, quality control, and ensuring timely delivery of client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects from requirement gathering and planning through execution, testing, and final delivery.
• Create project plans, assign tasks, set priorities, and track deadlines, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Coordinate with web developers, QA testers, system administrators, and Ads teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure website requirements, designs, content, and other resources are finalized before development begins.
• Track bugs, QA feedback, website functionality, deployment schedules, and resolution of technical issues.
• Coordinate with system administrators on website uptime, security, server issues, downtime reporting, and production releases.
• Monitor paid media project deliverables, campaign setup, tracking requirements, reporting, and pending client approvals.
• Conduct daily team check-ins, review project boards, follow up on overdue tasks, and resolve blockers.
• Communicate project progress, risks, delays, and resource requirements to management and clients.
• Maintain project trackers, SOPs, checklists, and documentation to ensure accountability and consistency.
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements to increase team efficiency, quality, and turnaround time.

Requirements

• 2–6 years of experience in IT Project Management, Technical Project Management, Web Project Management, or a similar role.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, particularly web development, QA, and technical operations.
• Working knowledge of website development, software testing, bug tracking, and deployment workflows.
• Basic understanding of server operations, website uptime, and incident management.
• Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta Ads, and campaign workflows is an advantage.
• Experience with Asana, Jira, Monday.com, ClickUp, Trello, or similar project management tools.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong ownership, attention to detail, and a process-oriented mindset.

ROLE SUMMARY:

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting people, technical processes, and engineering execution to ensure projects are delivered as per scope, budget, and timelines.

This role includes developing detailed project plans and comprehensive technical documentation, managing project Engineers and their availability, measuring engineering performance, tracking progress, and communicating project status to clients and internal stakeholders. You will work directly with Solutions Architects, Tech Leads, and Engineering teams to evaluate technical trade-offs, drive system design feasibility, and unblock engineering bottlenecks.

You will be a reliable and crucial team member who can anticipate client needs and translate complex technical requirements into actionable project milestones.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be the point of contact for all stakeholders from initiation to closure and will be responsible for leading the technical delivery team to achieve project objectives. You will work towards balancing technical constraints, technical debt, and Engineer availability on the project. You will report project status to client and internal stakeholders, escalate technical and operational issues as needed, and perform risk management to identify and mitigate architectural and delivery risks while maintaining strong advocacy within your spheres of influence.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Technical Project Manager with 7+ years experience: Including minimum 3 years of IT (Mobile/Web) project management experience and a prior background as a Software Engineer, Tech Lead, or Developer.

Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Must have handled end-to-end SDLC projects as a Technical Project Manager or Scrum Master.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?

Handle a portfolio of technical projects and clients in parallel and across geographies.

Develop an execution plan for projects, release schedules, CI/CD milestones, and team allocation.

Partner with technical leads to review high-level system designs, break down complex requirements into epics and user stories, and challenge technical estimates effectively.

Maintain strong relationships with product delivery, engineering leads, sales teams, clients, and account managers.

Expertise in project estimation, planning, tracking, scope control, technical risk and issues management, as well as engineering status reporting.

GOOD TO HAVE:

Hands-on or architecture exposure to.NET/Java/AWS/Azure or microservices architectures.

PMP / PMI-ACP / CSM (Certified ScrumMaster) certification.

Jira/Confluence project management tools expertise, Git workflows, and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
