Position: Business Development Lead

Reports to: Area Business Lead / Zonal Business Lead

Role Overview:

The Business Development Lead will be responsible for driving sales, managing channel partners, and expanding the company’s market share within the assigned territory. This role requires strong business acumen, relationship-building skills, and the ability to deliver consistent results by executing sales strategies effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
• Manage distributor and dealer networks to ensure product availability and market penetration.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, retailers, and key customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the territory.
• Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities, pricing, and customer trends.
• Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies
• Coordinate with marketing and product teams to execute promotional campaigns.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts, MIS reports, and market intelligence.
• Drive secondary sales and ensure proper stock management at distributor points
• Train and motivate the sales team/distributor staff to achieve performance goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 4–8 years of proven sales experience, preferably in FMCG/Consumer Durables/Pharma/Industrial products.
• Prior experience in managing a territory, distributors, and dealer networks.
• Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Position Overview: We are seeking a State Sales head with a passion for education and a proven track record

in sales to lead and expand our presence in the Punjab state. Ambitious and energetic candidates required

expertise in customer aquacation strategy & dedication for effective sales & marketing strategy to drive

sustainable financial growth with forging strong relationships & product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

● Sales Strategy: Develop & execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with the company's

goals and objectives. Continuously evaluate and refine the strategy based on market trends & customer

feedback.

● Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed revenue targets by identifying business opportunities, negotiating

contracts, and managing the sales pipeline. Foster long-term relationships with key accounts.

● Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, customer needs to inform product development and

sales strategies. Conduct market research,competition & competitor analysis to identify opportunities

for growth.

● Sales Process Optimization: Implement & improve sales processes, systems & follows the best

practices in sales and customer relationship management, use tools to enhance efficiency &

effectiveness.

● Reporting and Analysis: Regularly analyze sales data and performance metrics to provide insights

and recommendations for improvement. Present reports to senior management to track progress and

make informed decisions.

● Customer Engagement: Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted marketing campaigns,

promotions, and events to attract and retain customers. Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction

through effective communication and support.

● Collaboration: Identify and establish strategic partnerships with educational institutions, organizations

& other stakeholders to expand the company's reach and influence in the EdTech sector.

Qualification and experience:

● Proven working experience as a State Sales head in K-12 or CBSE school business,

● Proven sales track record, computer Proficiency for proposal development & CRM tools

● Market knowledge, strong relationship is expected with ability to build rapport

● Good analytical & Strong problem solving skills, listening and questioning skills, combined with the

ability to interact confidently with clients, able to work under pressure in result oriented manner

● Graduate from any branch computer science, MBA, BA, B.Com

● Edtech/Book publisher or sales & marketing experience are added advantages

Built a collaboration platform - messaging, voice, video - to be used in mobile apps, web etc. 

● Good understanding of Docker and Kubernetes deployments

• Must have hands-on experience in Java 8 or higher / J2EE
• Understanding of Agile and Lean software development processes and practices.
• Experience in Spring Boot and other spring frameworks

• Experience in MongoDB/ Kafka / RabbitMQ

• Experience in On-premises to AWS cloud Migration. 
• Linux and Windows servers knowledge .
• Application knowledge like Java, .net, Python, Ruby.
• On-premises to Cloud migration assessment experience as a must .
• Able to provide a detailed migration analysis report and present it to the customer.
• Creative problem-solving skills and superb communication skills. 
• Respond to technical queries / requests from team members and customers. 
• Ambitious individuals who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Managing  initiatives for migration and modernization in AWS cloud environment 
2. Leads and builds Modernization architecture solution from (on-prem or VMWare) into modern platform (Cloud AWS) through modular design by understanding application components 
3. Leads and SME in Modernization methodology and can lead the Design thinking workshop, method tailoring as Client environment and Client industry
4. The 6 most common application migration strategies below required
1. Re-host (Referred to as a “lift and shift.”)
2. Re-platform (Referred to as “lift, tinker, and shift.”)
3. Re-factor / Re-architect

5. Application migration analysis experience like application compatibility on the cloud, Network, security support on cloud.

Qualifications:

1. Is Education overrated? Yes. We believe so. But there is no way to locate you otherwise. So we might look for at least a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in engineering from a reputed institute or you should be programming from 12. 
1. And the latter is better. We will find you faster if you specify the latter in some manner. Not just a degree, but we are not too thrilled by tech certifications too :)
2. Architects with 10+ total and 6+ years of experience on Modernization applications and led Architecture initiatives on AWS Modernization.
3. Managed and implemented at least 5 engagement modernizing client applications to AWS Cloud and on WebSphere and Java/J2EE or .NET.
4. Experience on using DevOps tools during Modernization.
5. Complete in-depth experience and knowledge of AWS as a product and its components.
6. AWS certification would be preferred.
7. Experience in Agile fundamentals and methodology.
