Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated tests for our software applications using Python. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing principles, including test-driven development, behavior-driven development, and automated testing frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Test Automation : Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for software applications using Python and various testing frameworks such as Pytest, Unittest, and Behave.

2. Test Script Development : Develop test scripts to automate testing of software applications, including web, mobile, and desktop applications.

3. Test Framework Development : Develop and maintain test frameworks to support automated testing, including data-driven testing, keyword-driven testing, and hybrid testing.

4. Test Environment Setup : Set up and maintain test environments, including virtual machines, containers, and cloud-based infrastructure.

5. Test Data Management : Manage test data, including data creation, data masking, and data validation.

6. Defect Reporting : Identify, report, and track defects found during automated testing, including defect tracking and defect management.

7. Collaboration : Collaborate with development teams, QA teams, and product owners to ensure automated tests are aligned with business requirements and application functionality.

8. Test Automation Framework Maintenance : Maintain and update test automation frameworks to ensure they remain relevant and effective.

Requirements :

1. Python Programming : Strong proficiency in Python programming, including Python 3.x, NumPy, and Pandas.

2. Test Automation Frameworks : Experience with test automation frameworks such as Pytest, Unittest, Behave, and Selenium.

3. Automated Testing : 5+ years of experience with automated testing, including test-driven development, behavior-driven development, and automated testing frameworks.

4. Software Testing : 5+ years of experience with software testing, including manual testing, automated testing, and test planning.

5. Agile Methodologies : Experience with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

6. Version Control : Experience with version control systems such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial.

7. Cloud Experience : Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Java + AWS Developer to join our backend development team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in building scalable backend systems using Java and AWS services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-performance microservices and cloud-native applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, deploy, and maintain backend services and APIs using Java (preferably Java 8 or above) and Spring Boot
• Design and implement microservices architecture with a focus on scalability and reliability
• Leverage AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, SNS/SQS, and CloudWatch for cloud-native development
• Work with Relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB)
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies
• Monitor and troubleshoot applications in production using AWS CloudWatch or other logging tools
• Ensure secure, reliable, and efficient integration between services

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Java development with strong knowledge of Spring Boot
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, Microservices, and API security
• Strong experience with AWS Cloud Services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch, API Gateway, etc.)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes)
• Proficient in working with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Good understanding of event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g., SNS, SQS, Kafka)
• Experience with version control systems like Git
• Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps practices is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

We are now looking to add a leader to the team who can help us hire, grow, nurture, and retain quality operations talent. Additionally, you will play a key role in leading the strategy and execution to ensure that high-quality freelance talent is onboarded and optimally placed to meet client demands (average deal size of ~US$30000).

• Attracting & Retaining Talent - Build and execute a strategy to effectively attract, onboard, and retain talent to meet the speed and quality expectations of our clients. This includes collaborating with our screening teams to optimize the process for sourced talent. Your strategic and analytical thinking will contribute to the formulation of unique solutions to streamline such processes.
• Optimize matching process - Lead a fully distributed team and ensure work practices are designed to encourage revenue optimization. The focus thus, needs to be on assessing client needs, finding the "right" freelancer, so that we can match freelance talent to meet the speed and quality expectations of our clients. A key work area would be to do supply planning in alignment with forecasted client demand.
• Collaboration with Sales team - Build robust feedback loops with the Sales team to ensure that both teams work in the same direction. Your success will be measured by exceeding established KPIs for the supply and the demand teams.
• Driving improvements with the Marketing team - Lead efforts while working with the founders to dramatically scale the inbound funnel. Your role will be prioritize the different methods of talent acquisition to meet the forecasted client demand. Your insights will help the marketing team build landing pages and site resources to attract and retain targeted talent.
• Work with the Founders - Share feedback backed by strategic and analytical thinking with the founders on tech products (for freelancer success, onboarding, and matching), technical screening, talent success (laying out a clear path for success for our community).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire high-performing engineering teams to build and scale highly reliable, secure and responsive architecture for all LoveLocal products

• Build highly Scalable platforms using Python, ReactJS, NodeJS, Kafka, Distributed Caching, SQL and No SQL Databases

• Should have worked in a well scaled and fast paced working environment (Startups beyond Series B or a major tech organisation)

• Comfortable handling multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Well versed with cloud computing and infrastructure management AWS / GCP

• Has worked extensively on designing and implementing Microservices architecture

• Should have experience working with NoSQL data stores such as MongoDb, Cassandra, HBase, DynamoDB, etc.

• Should have experience working with Big Data streaming services such as Kinesis, Kafka, RabbitMQ etc

• Should be highly skilled in Python and have solid exposure to JavaScript

• Should have solid exposure to Web development and have had familiarity working with Android and IOS engineers
