Backend Developer

We’re looking for a Java Developer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in building scalable applications using Spring Boot and Microservices. Exposure to AWS and cloud environments is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices.

Build and consume RESTful APIs; follow clean code and best practices.

Designed, developed, and implemented applications from scratch using Java, ensuring clean, efficient, and optimized code as a Individual contributor.

Good communication skills.

Worked with various Java libraries and frameworks to enhance application performance and functionality.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; suggest performance improvements.

Skills Required:

Strong in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices.

Hands experience in developing code in java playing a role of Individual contributor.

Experience with REST/SOAP, Hibernate, MySQL/PostgreSQL.

Exposure to AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda preferred).

Familiar with Git, Maven; knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD is a plus.

As a backend developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining the core infrastructure and APIs that power our applications. You will work on creating scalable, efficient, and secure backend solutions leveraging cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side logic, APIs, and services using Node.js.
• Design and implement data storage solutions with MongoDB for scalability and reliability.
• Integrate and manage caching mechanisms using Redis to enhance application performance.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain backend services on AWS using services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, and more.
• Ensure system security and data protection by following industry best practices.
• Debug and optimize code for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
• Monitor and manage the health and performance of backend systems, implementing alerting and monitoring solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Node.js, with at least [Insert Minimum Years, e.g., 3+ years] of hands-on experience.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB and a strong understanding of NoSQL database design principles.
• Proficiency in Redis, including configuring, maintaining, and optimizing its usage.
• Solid experience with AWS services, including deploying, managing, and scaling cloud-based solutions.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design and best practices.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Knowledge of best practices in software development, including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Problem-solving mindset with strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with serverless architecture and services such as AWS Lambda.
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT).
• Exposure to message queues like RabbitMQ or Amazon SQS.

Task:

• Develop, record, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications.
• Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team
• Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
• Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
• Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API.
• Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post launch support.
• Refactor, optimize, and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale.
• Use test driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality
• Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues.
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
• Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as a liaison between development staff and project manager.
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.

We wish:

• Previous working experience as a PHP Developer for 4 year(s)
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
• Proficient in PHP, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery Expert
• Experience with PHP MVC frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, Yii, CodeIgniter, Zend, etc.)
• Excellent relational database skills with MySQL
• Experience with building restful JSON web services
• Knowledge of API’s, such as Twitter, Facebook, Google maps, Instagram, etc.
• Understanding of responsive design frameworks such as bootstrap
