PHP Developer - MySQL/Javascript (2-4 yrs)

Responsibilities:

• Lead simultaneous development for multiple business verticals.
• Design & develop highly scalable, reliable, secure, and fault-tolerant systems.
• Ensure that exceptional standards are maintained in all aspects of engineering.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to learn and share best practices.
• Take ownership of technical performance metrics and strive actively to improve them.
• Mentors junior members of the team and contributes to code reviews.

Requirements:

• Experience with SQL technologies (MySQL, PostgreSQL)

About the Role

We at Innovaccer are looking Software Development Engineer-II (Fullstack) to build the most amazing product experience. You’ll get to work with other engineers to build delightful feature experiences to

A Day in the Life

● Building efficient and reusable applications and abstraction

● Participate in the project life-cycle from pitch/prototyping through definition and design to build, integration, and delivery

● Analyse and improve the performance, scalability, stability, and security of the product

● Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

What You Need

● 2-5 years of experience with a start-up mentality and a high willingness to learn

● Expertise in Python/NodeJS

● Experience working in Web Development Frameworks (Express/Django or Flask)

● Experience working in teams of 3-10 people.

● Knowledge of Relational Databases

Nice to have

● Experience working in FE (JS + React)

● Experience in Cloud (AWS)

● Experience in Terraform

Task:

• Develop, record, and maintain cutting-edge web-based PHP applications.
• Build innovative, state-of-the-art applications and collaborate with the User Experience (UX) team
• Ensure HTML, CSS, and shared JavaScript is valid and consistent across applications.
• Prepare and maintain all applications utilizing standard development tools.
• Utilize backend data services and contribute to increase existing data services API.
• Lead the entire web application development life cycle right from concept stage to delivery and post launch support.
• Refactor, optimize, and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale.
• Use test driven development and acceptance tests to ensure feature quality
• Convey effectively with all task progress, evaluations, suggestions, schedules along with technical and process issues.
• Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
• Coordinate with co-developers and keeps project manager well informed of the status of development effort and serves as a liaison between development staff and project manager.
• Keep abreast of new trends and best practices in web development.

We wish:

• Previous working experience as a PHP Developer for 4 year(s)
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
• Proficient in PHP, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery Expert
• Experience with PHP MVC frameworks (Symfony, Laravel, Yii, CodeIgniter, Zend, etc.)
• Excellent relational database skills with MySQL
• Experience with building restful JSON web services
• Knowledge of API’s, such as Twitter, Facebook, Google maps, Instagram, etc.
• Understanding of responsive design frameworks such as bootstrap

Desirable:

• Should have problem-solving skills
• Good experience in oops concept
• Good experience  in MVC
• Good experience in jQuery & JavaScript
• Learn & work on new technologies/ frameworks.
• Knowledge of bootstrap
