Summary :

We are hiring a MySQL Database Developer for a government project (eUpchaar – HMIS in Haryana).

Key Responsibilities :

• MySQL 5.5+ development and performance optimization.
• Stored procedures, indexing, and query tuning.
• Experience with MySQL engines (InnoDB, MyISAM, MEMORY).
• High Availability, replication, and RAID (10/5) setup.
• SQLite configuration and Linux scripting.
• Backup, recovery, and maintenance of MySQL environments.

Requirements :

• B.E./B.Tech/MCA
• Strong communication in English & Hindi
• Platform : MySQL, UNIX, Windows 7+
• Preferred : Health domain experience

Role Overview

The Hydrologist / Drainage Planning Expert will lead hydrological, hydraulic, and drainage design

tasks across infrastructure, transportation, water resources, and urban development projects. The

role involves rainfall-runoff analysis, watershed delineation, hydraulic modelling, flood-risk evaluation,

stormwater drainage design, and integration of survey and geospatial datasets such as LiDAR, drone

imagery, DEMs, and topographic survey data. The candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary

teams and prepare technical reports, drawings, and engineering-ready deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct rainfall-runoff analysis using standard hydrological methods.

• Perform catchment delineation, infiltration assessment, and runoff estimation.

• Analyse rainfall, discharge, and historical flood data.

• Develop hydraulic models using HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, or equivalent tools.

• Design stormwater drainage systems including channels, culverts, and outfall structures.

• Prepare GL–IL sheets, drainage profiles, and hydraulic gradient calculations.

• Integrate survey datasets such as LiDAR, DEMs, and drone orthomosaics.

• Identify drainage bottlenecks and propose mitigation measures.

• Prepare hydrology reports, calculations, drawings, and GIS layers.

• Coordinate with GIS, CAD, LiDAR, Survey, and engineering teams.

• Conduct field visits for drainage assessment and validation.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

• Accuracy of hydrological and hydraulic calculations.

• Quality and completeness of drainage design deliverables.

• Timely submission of reports and drawings.

• Reduction of rework and improved dataset integration.

• Client acceptance of deliverables with minimal revisions.

• Effective interdisciplinary communication and coordination.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of hydrology, surface water drainage, and hydraulics.

• Knowledge of modelling tools such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, or MIKE.

• Proficiency in GIS tools (ArcGIS/QGIS) for terrain and watershed analysis.

• Ability to interpret LiDAR point clouds, DEMs, and topographic data.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD/Civil 3D for drainage drawings.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

• Good communication and technical writing abilities.

Educational Qualifications

• M.Tech/M.Sc in Hydrology, Water Resources, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.

• B.Tech (Civil) with strong hydrology knowledge may also apply.

• Training/certifications in hydraulic modelling tools preferred.

Experience Requirements

• 3 to 12 years of experience in hydrology, drainage planning, stormwater modelling, or water

resource engineering.

• Experience integrating LiDAR/drone-based datasets is an added advantage.

Skills Required:

✔️ Strong expertise in data, AI, and cloud infrastructure.

✔️ Proficiency in Python, SQL, and basic scripting (Shell/Bash).

✔️ Experience working with Azure Databricks, GCP, or AWS.

✔️ Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Hive, Hadoop, and Big Data ETL tools.

✔️ Knowledge of Jenkins, JIRA, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Azure DevOps, and Git.

✔️ Strong experience in SQL databases (Oracle, SQL Server, DB2) and NoSQL databases.

Your main responsibility will be designing and implementing applications that are written in PHP. This means you will work closely with front end developers to integrate backend components with the components they’re creating for users to interact with.

Skills And Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as cake php, Laravel, Yii, etc depending on your technology stack
• Understanding the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
• Understanding of MVC design patterns
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
