Position Overview: The Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth by identifying new business opportunities, fostering client relationships, and contributing to Company overall strategy. This individual will be responsible for expanding our client base, increasing revenue, and contributing to business expansion through strategic efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development: Research, identify, and evaluate new clients, partners, and market opportunities to develop growth strategies.

• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both existing and potential clients. Understand their needs and align solutions to Company’s offerings.

• Revenue Growth: Consistently achieve set targets, contributing directly to the company’s revenue goals.

• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market demands to adjust strategies as needed.

• Proposal & Presentation Development: Prepare persuasive proposals and presentations that showcase Company’s services and value propositions.

• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, production, operations, and creative teams to ensure seamless execution of business initiatives and client requirements.

Qualifications:

• Education: Any Bachelor's degree

• Experience: 3-6 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field (preferably in the events or entertainment industry)

• Previous working experience as a MEAN Stack Developer for 1+ years
• BSc degree in Computer Science or similar relevant field 
• In-depth knowledge of NodeJS, ExpressJS or Restify
• Experience implementing applications using Angular 1 or React
• Experience creating front end applications using HTML5, Angular, LESS/SASS
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript Development on both client and server-side
• Experience with modern frameworks and design patterns, minimum one-year experience with MEAN Fullstack paradigm

Skills:-

Java, SpringBoot, OOps, Microservices and Basic in SQL.

Responsibilities: -

Experience in application components using Spring Boot.

Should possess application development experience in Java 7/8, Spring Framework, Spring Boot.

Design and develop micro services/APIs using either Java/Spring boot. · Experience working in Agile environment and good understanding of Agile processes.

Good in any front end technologies like React JS

Experience in AWS

Knowledge of Application Server like Tomcat, Testing frameworks like JUnit Skills:

Spring Boot, Swagger, Tomcat , Maven, Jenkins, Git, Postman, kubernetes, Docker, Hibernate.

Strong knowledge on both SQL and NOSQL Databases.

Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and can articulate your ideas to different stakeholders.

Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

Experience in working as a team to design, document, develop, test, implement and maintain modular, multi-tier large Java applications.

Duck Creek Platform in general, agile/scrum, change orientation and effective communication :

• Responsible for development of complex configuration in Duck Creek application
• Work with Business and subject matter experts to gather and validate the requirements
• Work with development lead on designing solutions
• Provide guidance or mentorship to the team where applicable
• Provide inputs to testing scope and review artifacts
• Provide support to test events and support elevate activities
• Identify, escalate and mitigate challenges in delivery both from technical and functional stand point.

Responsibilities

• Participate in creation and execution of product and technology roadmap with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product managers and other leads/architects for building and delivering projects
• Ownership of front-end and back-end development work carried out with reusability, scalability, and testability of the projects
• Hire and mentor junior team members and coordinate their training
• Coordinate with external stakeholders for new integrations and tools
• Review and update policies relevant to internal systems and equipment and stay compliant with security regulations
• Monitor reliability and performance of all customer-facing and internal projects
• Manage software development projects by setting requirements, goals, and timelines

Requirements

• Work experience as an engineering manager or in a similar senior-level position at an engineering department
• Experience in the Fintech space
• Extensive experience with cloud technologies (AWS preferred) and server-side technologies (Java preferred)
• Hands-on experience in back-end and front-end development
• Good understanding of SDLC using agile methodologies (SCRUM / Kanban / SAFe)
• Leadership abilities with a strategic mind
• Excellent project management skills
• BSc/MSc in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant field
