About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer specializing in Wireless networking to design, implement, and manage enterprise-grade Wi-Fi solutions. The role requires deep expertise in wireless technologies, RF design, security, troubleshooting, and optimization across large-scale environments. Key Responsibilities Wireless Network Design & Architecture • Design and deploy enterprise wireless networks (campus, branch, and large-scale environments). • Conduct RF planning, site surveys, and capacity analysis using tools like Ekahau, AirMagnet, and similar. • Define wireless architecture standards, best practices, and design frameworks. Wireless Implementation • Configure and manage wireless controllers and access points (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper Mist, Ruckus, etc.). • Implement SSIDs, VLAN mappings, mobility groups, and roaming configurations. • Ensure high availability and seamless roaming across wireless environments. 1 Wireless Security • Design and implement secure wireless solutions (WPA3, 802.1X, EAP protocols). • Integrate wireless networks with NAC solutions (Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass). • Monitor for rogue APs, unauthorized access, and wireless threats. RF Optimization & Troubleshooting • Analyse RF performance, interference, coverage gaps, and client experience. • Troubleshoot complex wireless issues such as latency, packet loss, roaming delays. • Perform spectrum analysis and continuous optimization. Monitoring & Performance Management • Use monitoring tools (Cisco Meraki/Prime/DNA Center, Aruba Central/AirWave, Mist Cloud) to track performance. • Implement QoS policies for voice/video over Wi-Fi. • Drive improvements in user experience and network reliability. Cloud & Modern Wireless • Work with cloud-managed wireless platforms (Meraki, Mist, Aruba Central). • Support hybrid integration with enterprise and cloud networks. • Stay updated on Wi-Fi 6 / Wi-Fi 6E / Wi-Fi 7 technologies. Automation & Innovation (added advantage) • Develop automation scripts and workflows for wireless provisioning and monitoring. • Leverage APIs and tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform) for configuration management. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives. Incident & Change Management • Provide L3/L4 support for major wireless incidents. • Lead root cause analysis and problem management. • Support change implementation with risk assessment and rollback planning. Documentation & Governance • Maintain detailed documentation (designs, runbooks, SOPs). • Ensure compliance with enterprise security and governance policies. • Support audits and regulatory requirements. 2 Required Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field. • 3–6 years of experience in networking, with strong focus on wireless. • Hands-on expertise with: -Enterprise wireless platforms (Cisco, Aruba, Mist, Ruckus) -RF fundamentals (channel planning, power levels, interference mitigation) -Wireless protocols: 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax (Wi-Fi 6/6E/7) • Strong knowledge of: -TCP/IP networking and network integration (R&S fundamentals) -Authentication protocols (802.1X, RADIUS, EAP) -High-density wireless design.

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Cisco DNAC Wireless L2+ Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in enterprise wireless infrastructure, Cisco Catalyst Center (formerly DNA Center/DNAC), Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), and Software-Defined Access (SD-Access/SDA).

The candidate will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting, optimizing, and supporting enterprise wireless and campus network environments, handling L2+ escalations, and ensuring network availability, performance, and security.

Mandatory skills :

Cisco DNAC / Catalyst Center, Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (9800 Series), Cisco Access Points, Cisco ISE, SD-Access (SDA), Cisco Catalyst Switches, Routing & Switching, VLAN, STP, HSRP, OSPF, BGP, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, AAA, RF Troubleshooting, Wireless Optimization, Network Troubleshooting, Incident Management.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and support enterprise wireless infrastructure and Cisco-based campus networks.
• Handle L2+ escalations related to wireless, LAN, Cisco DNAC, and network connectivity issues.
• Configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC) environments.
• Manage Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (9800 series preferred), Cisco Access Points, and Cisco Catalyst switches.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco ISE integration, authentication, authorization, and access policies.
• Support and troubleshoot Cisco SD-Access (SDA) architecture and network segmentation.
• Perform wireless health analysis, RF optimization, coverage assessment, and interference troubleshooting.
• Resolve issues related to client onboarding, wireless roaming, authentication, DHCP, DNS, and application visibility.
• Implement network automation, device provisioning, and configuration management using DNAC workflows and templates.
• Perform software upgrades, patching, configuration backups, and network lifecycle management.
• Troubleshoot routing, switching, VLAN, and wireless connectivity issues using logs, packet captures, and network diagnostic tools.
• Coordinate with OEM Technical Assistance Center (TAC) teams and internal stakeholders during critical incidents.
• Participate in network design reviews, migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure transformation projects.
• Prepare and maintain High-Level Design (HLD), Low-Level Design (LLD), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and operational documentation.
• Ensure compliance with network security policies, operational standards, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Mentor L1/L2 engineers and contribute to continuous improvement in network operations.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

• Cisco Catalyst Center / DNAC : Hands-on experience with configuration, monitoring, assurance, provisioning, and troubleshooting.
• Cisco Wireless : Strong experience with WLCs, preferably Cisco 9800 series, and Cisco Access Points.
• Cisco ISE : Experience with AAA, authentication, authorization, and wireless security integration.
• Cisco SD-Access (SDA) : Understanding of architecture, segmentation, and troubleshooting.
• Routing & Switching : Strong knowledge of VLANs, STP, HSRP, OSPF, BGP, and TCP/IP.
• Network Services : Working knowledge of DHCP, DNS, AAA, and enterprise network connectivity.
• Wireless Troubleshooting : RF analysis, roaming, client onboarding, interference, and coverage optimization.
• Network Diagnostics : Experience with packet analysis, incident management, and root cause identification.

Experience Requirements :

• 6+ years of overall networking experience.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco DNAC / Catalyst Center and enterprise wireless environments.
• Experience handling L2+ escalations and complex network incidents.
• Practical experience supporting enterprise campus networks and business-critical infrastructure.

Preferred Certifications :

• CCNP Enterprise.
• Cisco certifications related to Catalyst Center, SD-Access, or enterprise wireless networking.

Good to Have :

• Experience working in large enterprise environments or managed services organizations.
• Exposure to Aruba or Juniper wireless solutions.
• Experience in customer-facing technical support and critical incident management.
• Knowledge of wireless survey tools and RF analysis utilities.
• Experience with network automation and configuration templates.
