Job Description:

An Assistant Engineer works as part of an engineering team to support various aspects of production, design, quality control, and maintenance. They are involved in project planning, process improvement, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting. The role also includes monitoring safety regulations, analyzing test results, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support & Project Assistance

• Assist senior engineers in project design, execution, and troubleshooting.
• Conduct research, collect data, and prepare technical reports.
• Participate in product development and testing processes.

1. Production & Process Optimization

• Monitor production activities and ensure smooth operation.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements.
• Coordinate with production teams to maintain workflow efficiency.

1. Quality Control & Assurance

• Conduct quality checks and inspections of materials, components, and finished products.
• Ensure products meet industry and regulatory standards.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.

1. Equipment Maintenance & Safety Compliance

• Ensure machines and tools are properly maintained.
• Follow safety protocols and assist in risk assessment.
• Train workers on the safe operation of equipment.

1. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain records of production, quality tests, and project progress.
• Prepare reports for senior engineers and management.
• Assist in preparing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).

Role Summary

In this role, you will lead the DevOps function at the organisation and work through all

facets of software development: design, prototype, implementation, testing and

documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, implement, test and troubleshoot deployment strategies
• BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent. MS or higher degree
• preferred.
• Design continuous integration and delivery pipelines using latest tools and platformsv
• Demonstrated understanding and hands-on experience in Kubernetes, K8s-Ingress,
• Docker, AWS EC2, VPC, Route53, ELB, RDS, MongoDB, Helm, Rancher, Jenkins,

• Create high level deployment design (HLSD) documents and outline software solutions
• Strong DevOps Management experience with focus on server-side development and

Qualification

• Experience with working on code enhancements within a large, complex software
• system
• Create server side deployment primarily in the Cloud, Collaboration space
• 10+ years of relevant experience in developing and managing web/app products.
• Experience with a few of these languages: Shell, Ruby/ JRuby, Python, PowerShell, Java,
• Go
• Hands-on experience in deploying and managing highly scalable cloud applications
