Senior Backend Engineer

The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible for working on PHP plugins and the PHP developer role.

Job Role: PHP Developer

Design, build, test, integrate, implement and maintain complex or large-scale web pages and web applications. 

• In-Depth knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, SQL, XML/Json, AJAX, JQuery, LAMP/WAMP   environments. 
• Expertise in PHP-based e-commerce portals like Magento, Shopify, Woocommerce, etc. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Understanding of business requirements and the process of translating them into well-engineered and integrated technical solutions and reusable components. 
• Development of custom modules of Magento, Shopify, and Woocommerce.
• Integrating Magento / Other Ecommerce applications with other external applications like ERP etc. 
• Write elegant and clean code as a PHP Developer. 
• Implement plugins for Magento, Shopify, Woocommerce, etc. 
• Create clean, well-documented products, software, and services. 
• Work closely with product management, UX designers & QA. 
• Always look for ways to make the UI behave and perform better. 
• Develop technical solutions to complex problems which use ingenuity and creativity.
• Design, code, test, debug and document software according to the functional requirements

Position: Software Development Engineer, NodeJs

Experience: 3-7 Years

Responsibilities:

 Work with product team / business / architects to understand the requirement

and develop and maintain back end application logic

 Work with front end developers to ensure seamless integration with the back

end logic

 Design and optimize application for high performance and high availability

Develop Secure, testable and scalable application

Experience Required:

 Engineering Graduate with 3 to 7 years of experience in software development.

 Strong proficiency with JavaScript and ES6 or ECMA 2015 on Node.js platform.

 Knowledge of frameworks such as Express, KOA is desirable.

 Knowledge and understanding of async non-blocking architecture

 Knowledge of creating REST-ful APIs.

 Knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms, Node Global variables and In built libraries.

 Experience in building high-volume transactional customer facing systems desirable
Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds

 Knowledge of packages BABEL, Webpack

What Youll Do:

Coding in Java8, Spring, Microservices, WebFlux/Reactive Programing, Rest services, Kafka, PCF, Azure, Spring Cloud Config and NoSQL technologies.

Solve technical problems using cutting-edge technologies and best practices.

Ensure code meets the required development standards and is optimized for performance.

Unit testing for each line of new code introduced (JUnit/Mockito)

Peer code review process using GIT pull requests and Crucible (for SVN)

Propose multiple solutions to a problem, show how one option is better than another.

Ensure all aspects of technical design are correctly incorporated.

Contribute in research and implementing POCs as required.

Collaborating with onsite team in scrum ceremonies.


Who you are:

Hands on experience on Java/J2EE programming, especially on Java 8 features

Experience using latest frameworks like Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Rest, Spring Cloud Config and Webflux.

Experience in Microservices architecture & development

Experience with Test Driven Development 

Experience with SQL on any of the RDBMS Oracle, PostgreSQL, My SQL 

Exposure to NoSQL DB is added advantage, preferred MongoDb / Cassandra

Experience with any of the ORM frameworks Hibernate/iBatis, JDBC, JPA 

Exposure to JMS Kafka, IBM MQ or Active MQ is good to have 

Experience with JUNIT and any of the mocking frameworks Mockito, EasyMock, JMock 

with hands on any one of the cloud platforms like PCF, Azure

Use of code repository tools like SVN, GIT 

Exposure to any of the build and deployment tools like Gradle, Maven, Ant

Experience in CI/CD pipeline such as JENKINS

Experience using different design patterns, especially GoF, J2EE and Integration design patterns

Exposure to performance testing using JMeter is good to have 

Ensuring the code meets the required development standards and is optimized for performance

Experience managing teams and deliveries 

Providing technical design or approach for a business problem

Leading the team towards the right solution with expected quality and timelines

Experience with Agile practices 

With good collaboration skills to coordinate with US based onsite team and client team.
