Responsibilities

• Build and customize WordPress websites
• Integrate Figma/Sketch or design files into WordPress theme.
• Build and customize WordPress plugins
• Optimize the website for good website performance
• Ensure good website security.
• Find opportunities to improve current systems or patterns through auditing or benchmarking
• 'Own' and take lead in newly developed features for current or next generation platforms

Requirements

• Experience working in WordPress at a PHP code level.
• Experience in designing and developing responsive design websites.
• Knowledge of HOOKS concepts in WordPress.
• Good MySql knowledge.
• Experience in website performance.
• Building WordPress CMS websites using the best practice & de-facto standard plugins.

Job Description

This requirement is to service our client which is a leading big data technology company that measures what viewers consume across platforms to enable marketers make better advertising decisions. We are seeking a Senior Data Operations Analyst to mine large-scale datasets for our client. Their work will have a direct impact on driving business strategies for prominent industry leaders. Self-motivation and strong communication skills are both must-haves. Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment is desired.

Problems being solved by our client: 

Measure consumer usage of devices linked to the internet and home networks including computers, mobile phones, tablets, streaming sticks, smart TVs, thermostats and other appliances. There are more screens and other connected devices in homes than ever before, yet there have been major gaps in understanding how consumers interact with this technology. Our client uses a measurement technology to unravel dynamics of consumers’ interactions with multiple devices.

Duties and responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will contribute to the development of novel audience measurement and demographic inference solutions. 
• Develop, implement, and support statistical or machine learning methodologies and processes. 

• Build, test new features and concepts and integrate into production process
• Participate in ongoing research and evaluation of new technologies
• Exercise your experience in the development lifecycle through analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of this system
• Collaborate with teams in Software Engineering, Operations, and Product Management to deliver timely and quality data. You will be the knowledge expert, delivering quality data to our clients

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years relevant work experience in areas as outlined below
• Experience in extracting data using SQL from large databases
• Experience in writing complex ETL processes and frameworks for analytics and data management. Must have experience in working on ETL tools.

• Master’s degree or PhD in Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or a similar degree with a focus on statistical methods. A Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with significant, demonstrated professional research experience will also be considered. 
• Programming experience in scientific computing language (R, Python, Julia) and the ability to interact with relational data (SQL, Apache Pig, SparkSQL). General purpose programming (Python, Scala, Java) and familiarity with Hadoop is a plus.  
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Experience with TV or digital audience measurement or market research data is a plus. 
• Familiarity with systems analysis or systems thinking is a plus.

Position: Solutions Engineer

As an APAC Solutions Engineer, you will be an integral player on the Sales team in positioning, demonstrating, and developing creative solutions for key customers and prospects. You will be the trusted solutions advisor for our customers by creating solutions that align with the NextBillion.ai technology stack.

Reporting to the VP of Sales and Customer Success, you will be the primary technical interface between our sales prospects and the Product and Engineering team.

We are looking for a Maps and Locations-Based Services expert with excellent technical, communication, organisational, and customer-facing skills. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

• In partnership with sales personnel, marshal prospects through the sales cycle by providing professional technical, integration, and development support.
• Work closely with our sales prospects in APAC to identify and solve their most critical business problems with a deep understanding of the NextBillion.ai architecture and feature set.
• Articulate customer requirements and solutions to different technical and non-technical stakeholders so as to enable successful execution of the engineering work.
• Organise and lead product-related webinars and training sessions.
• In coordination with sales personnel, assist in the response to all technical details in RFIs/RFPs
• Continually assess prospect and customer feedback as well as industry trends in providing feedback to product teams
• Support sales and customer success teams in onboarding newly signed customers into the post-sales support process
• A small amount of travel is required for prospect and customer meetings.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• 6+ years experience in technical consulting, solutions engineering or product management. 
• Prior experience with proprietary as well as open-source map products and tools, such as maps from HERE, TomTom and OSM, and supporting toolsets such as  QGIS.
• Adept and agile in working with a variety of frameworks and programming languages both frontend and backend e.g. JavaScript, Node.js,  Python, Angular, React, Rust, Go
• Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and service endpoints for both design and implementation
• Experience with using cloud native services from popular hosting providers like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. 
• Understanding of common development practices, ticketing systems, and revision control systems using `git`i.e. Gitlab/Github, ClickUp/JIRA

Beneficial/Nice-to-Haves: (optional)

• Industry experience in mobility services, fleet management, logistics/last-mile delivery, and/or connected car service
• Some prior experience with data science and/or machine learning teams.
