Role Description
Public Relations Specialist / Media Partnerships and Alliances Specialist
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Public Relations Specialist / Media Partnerships and Alliances Specialist to join our public relations team.
This is a full-time role with the flexibility of working from home. The candidate will work according to U.S. hours Eastern Time (i.e. 6 PM to 3 AM IST)
The candidate will be responsible for identifying and reaching out to contributors / journalists and media outlets working across the globe in news /online media outlets, developing and maintaining relationships with them and collaborating with them.
Key Responsibilities
– Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with journalists and global media outlets
– Strike partnerships that help the company contribute stories on global media outlets
– Find business opportunities with media outlets that can benefit our company
– Find opportunities where the company can directly contribute towards news stories
– Find opportunities to build and expand the online profiles of key personnel
Requirements
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Self-starter by nature
– Diligent, persistent with strong follow -ups
– Strong organizational skills
– Savvy with MS Office and social media platforms.
– 3 to 4 years of experience in a communications role (preferably in the public relations industry either in-house or with an agency)
Compensation
– Basic in-hand salary range is INR 4.4 to 4.8 LPA
– This is an extremely vital role to the company and hence there is tremendous scope for growth and increment in this role and team
Qualifications
- Experience in consistently reaching out to external parties.
- Experience in creating and maintaining external relationships and develop partnerships
- Experience in the public relations industry is preferred.
- Ambitious, self-motivated, target-driven, and ability to work independently.
