CUREYA is seeking a highly experienced and passionate Senior Books to Freedom Editorial Support Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting authors who are seeking editorial assistance for their books on various medical topics.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive editorial support for authors working on books related to:
• Research papers
• Medical research papers
• Medical journals
• Medical annual reports
• Conduct thorough developmental and copy editing to ensure manuscripts are clear, concise, accurate, and well-organized.
• Collaborate with authors to refine their writing style, structure, and arguments.
• Verify references and ensure proper citation formatting.
• Maintain a strong understanding of medical terminology and concepts.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in medical research and publishing best practices.
• Meet deadlines consistently and efficiently.
• Provide constructive feedback and maintain a positive and professional relationship with authors.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in editorial support, preferably focused on medical or scientific publications.
• Proven experience in developmental editing, copy editing, and fact-checking.
• In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and research methodologies.
• Excellent command of the English language with strong grammar, punctuation, and spelling skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using editorial software and style guides.
• A passion for supporting authors and helping them bring their medical knowledge to the public.
