What You’ll Do:

We’re looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join us early, own critical systems, and help shape both the product and the engineering culture from day one.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Own end-to-end product development, from user experience to backend integration
• Build and scale a modern SPA using React, TypeScript, Vite, and Tailwind Design intuitive, high-trust UIs for finance workflows (payments, approvals, dashboards)
• Collaborate closely with backend systems written in Go via well-designed APIs
• Translate product requirements into clean, maintainable components and state models
• Optimize frontend performance, bundle size, and load times for complex dashboards
• Work directly with founders and design partners to iterate rapidly on product direction
• Establish frontend best practices around architecture, testing, and developer experience
• Contribute across the stack when needed, including API design and data modeling discussions.

What You’ll Need:

• Strong experience with Go in production systems
• Solid backend fundamentals: APIs, distributed systems, concurrency, and data modeling
• Hands-on experience with AWS, including deploying and operating production services
• Deep familiarity with Postgres, including schema design, indexing, and performance considerations
• Comfort working in early-stage environments with ambiguity, ownership, and rapid iteration
• Product mindset — you care about why you’re building something, not just how
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make pragmatic tradeoffs

Job description

Who we are looking for

· A Natural Language Processing (NLP) expert with strong computer science fundamentals and experience in working with deep learning frameworks. You will be working at the cutting edge of NLP and Machine Learning.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Work as part of a distributed team to research, build and deploy Machine Learning models for NLP.

· Mentor and coach other team members

· Evaluate the performance of NLP models and ideate on how they can be improved

· Support internal and external NLP-facing APIs

· Keep up to date on current research around NLP, Machine Learning and Deep Learning

Mandatory Requirements

· Any graduation with at least 2 years of demonstrated experience as a Data Scientist.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Software analysis, design, development, and customizations of software applications on IBMi
• Develop Design and test cases
• Prepare project technical delivery documents such as Technical Design Documents, analysis, documents, Unit Test Reports, and others
• Actively participate in software quality Engineering process activities
• Stakeholder interactions daily
• Mentor junior resources and provide technical guidance as and when required
• Production Support and other maintenance activities on IBMi
• Participate in daily stand-up or equivalent calls
• Provide accurate timely status reports
• Work under agile frameworks including but not limited to Kanban and Scrum
• Any experience of support IBMi-based ERP packages would be added advantage
• Perform the production code promotional and other change management activities
• Providing technical leadership to project team members and responding to inquiries regarding errors or questions about programs

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Graduate in Engineering or equivalent
• 10+ years of total experience is required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Founder & Team

The founder is Shariq Plasticwala. He is a graduate of IIT Bombay & Stanford GSB. He was part of the founding team of Amazon India where he played a key role for over 8 years. Among his roles at Amazon, he was the CEO of Amazon’s first joint venture in India and a Board Member of Amazon’s payments business. The other members of the founding team consist of senior executives from Shiamak Davar & Byju’s.

Background

• At least 1+ years’ experience in back-end development in a fast-paced environment, working in Python & Django Framework
• Deep understanding of technologies used in web-deployed SaaS products, including Rest APIs
• Exposure to AWS, Azure or other cloud providers

Opportunity

We will share our workload as a team and we expect you to work on a broad range of tasks. Here’s are some of the things you might have to do on any given day:

• Developing APIs and endpoints for deployments of our product
• Infrastructure Development such as building databases, creating and maintaining automated jobs
• Build out the back-end to deploy and scale our product

Skills

Desired Candidate profile: 
1.     A Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education from Elite College or institution and work experience.
2.     4+ years of Software Development experience.
3.     Excellent object-oriented design and coding skills (Java, C++ on a UNIX or Linux platform).
4.     Very strong software development background including design patterns, data structures, test-driven development.
5.     Ability to design and implement systems end to end on your own while maintaining highest coding standards.
6.     Excellent knowledge of design patterns and ability to reflect it in their code.
7.     Ability to lead projects and mentor junior engineers on the same.
8.     Mandatory work experience in skills sets: REST API, JDBC, RDBMS (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
9.     Solid Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases.
10.  Software development experience in Servlet, JSP, Spring, AWS, S3, SQS, building web services and highly scalable applications or Google Cloud Suite.
11.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
