We are a managed video calling solution built on top of WebRTC, which allows it's
customers to integrate live video-calls within existing solutions in less than 10 lines of
code. We provide a completely managed SDK that solves the problem of battling
endless cases of video calling APIs.

Experience - 3+ Years

Requirements:

● Should have at least 2+ years of DevOps experience
● Should have experience with Kubernetes
● Should have experience with Terraform/Helm
● Should have experience in building scalable server-side systems
● Should have experience in cloud infrastructure and designing databases
● Having experience with NodeJS/TypeScript/AWS is a bonus
● Having experience with WebRTC is a bonus

Main tasks

• Test preparation (test design, creation of test specifications and test cases for regression tests and tests of new and further developments)
• Sprint-accompanying testing in the Scrum team
• Test evaluation / documentation of the test results
• Further development of existing test automation processes
• Close cooperation with the SOL business unit and the test departments at other locations

 

Qualification profile

• Completed degree or comparable training with an IT background
• Affinity and many years of experience in systematic testing of software products
• Excellent ability to work in a team and an independent, structured way of working
• Practical knowledge of the application of test methods and quality management standards as well as test automation knowledge are advantageous
• Fluent in English

We are looking for an Engineering Manager for an enterprise level product company at Bengaluru.

Job Description :

The Engineering Manager will work closely with management and our customers and partners globally. As a successful hire, you will report to the VP - Engineering. You will be responsible for shaping our product and strategizing its delivery around when and how it will be done so.

The Ideal Candidate :

- Should have 8-15 years experience with at least 2 years as an Engineering Manager

- Must have experience with Containerization, Docker, Kubernetes

- Should have designed and delivered :

1. Open Source based Enterprise Software

2. Software based on Java, Angular JS, ReactJS, Python, no-SQL databases, Elastic, Kubernetes.

3. Solutions in the Cloud (AWS or Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP))

4. Delivered multiple releases of products using Agile Development

5. Delivered Artifacts like Design/Test-Plan/Documentation-Plan documents

- Posses Team Management skills :

1. Led Product Development Teams involving UI, Middle-Tier and Database developers

2. Led Product Development, QA and Documentation Teams

3. Delivered performance reviews, improvement plans to team members

4. Should have completed a 4-year Engineering degree in Computer Science (preferably)

Responsibilities :

- Lead Product Development, QA and Documentation for multiple Products

- Deliver Engineering Product Releases and Patches

- Provide work break-down and be responsible for all Engineering Team deliverables

- Interact with team members and ensure timely and successful delivery of each sprint iteration

- Provide technical guidance, coaching and mentoring to Engineering Team

- Be responsible for tools and processes for all Engineering activities

Key Technical Skills:

• Deep experience on Performance Engineering with understanding of Java/J2EE technologies.
• Experienced in defining and realizing end-to-end Technical Architecture for large scale real- time enterprise systems. Ability to identify and define non-functional requirements and design systems to meet the same.
• Ability to review existing Architectures and identify Risks, Trade-offs, and share recommendations for addressing the identified issues.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of cloud architecture considerations when scaling and tuning application deployments. Must have hands on experience working on any of the Cloud deployments on AWS or Azure.
