Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Tech Architect with expertise in Java Spring Boot to design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems. As a Tech Architect, you will be responsible for shaping the technical direction of complex software projects and providing architectural guidance to engineering teams. 
• This role requires deep technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of solutions that meet business and technical requirements. Experience in the Fintech domain is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design & Strategy:

• Lead the architectural design and implementation of scalable, maintainable, and secure backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. 
• Define best practices for code quality, testing, security, and deployment processes. Drive the adoption of modern development methodologies (Agile, DevOps) and frameworks.

1. Technical Leadership:

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to developers and engineers on coding standards, design patterns, and technologies.
• Ensure the architecture is aligned with business goals and technical constraints. Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices to maintain high-quality standards.

1. Collaboration:

• Work closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements, integrate with third-party services, and ensure the overall system design is cohesive.

1. Problem Solving:

• Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges, such as performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and system integrations.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and frameworks to continually improve the development process.

1. Documentation & Reporting:

• Document architectural designs, technical specifications, and implementation guides.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and technical challenges to senior leadership.

1. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
• Recommend improvements to system architecture, processes, and technologies to enhance the software development lifecycle.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineer with expertise in building scalable, extensible applications, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, collaborate with other team members to innovate current/new products; Identify, communicate and implement best practices for application engineering. We’d love for you to have:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a backend developer is required
• Education: B.Tech. in Computer Science from tier - 1 engineering colleges in India

• A self-starter who is passionate about problem solving across complex technology stack.
• Highly skilled back-end engineer using Object-Oriented programming preferably Java, exposure to open source libraries and frameworks.
• Strong knowledge and experience in REST based programming using Restlet framework.
• Ability and experience in evaluation and integration of third party systems and libraries.
• Experience in system architecture, data structures, algorithm design and their optimization.
• Passion for performance benchmarking and debugging.
• Strong knowledge of web standards (i.e. REST/SOAP) concepts
• Knowledge of version control (GIT) and databases (MySQL)
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle, design, develop, debug, document, and deliver (especially in a multiple location organization).
• Experience in Test-driven development.

• 7+ years of experience in IT
• Demonstrable expertise in Golang development services, including a deep understanding of its syntax, advanced features, and standard library
• Familiarity with Go routines and channel patterns, as well as experience in writing high-performance Go code
• Solid grasp of web development fundamentals, including HTTP/HTTPS protocols, RESTful API design, data structures, and WebSockets
• Experience with designing and implementing microservices in Go and an understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes

Required Experience:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology and Management, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Have experience working and strong understanding of object-oriented programing and cloud technologies
• End to end experience delivering production ready code with Java8, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and API libraries
• Strong experience with unit and integration testing of the Spring Boot APIs.
• Strong understanding and production experience of RESTful API's and microservice architecture.
• Strong understanding of SQL databases and NoSQL databases and experience with writing abstraction layers to communicate with the databases.

Nice to have's (but not required):

• Exposure to Kotlin or other JVM programming languages
• Strong understanding and production experience working with Docker container environments
• Strong understanding and production experience working with Kafka
• Cloud Environments: AWS, GCP or Azure

• Must have applied knowledge of Python and trending data libraries.
