Job Role: Manual Software Tester

Experience Level: 1 - 2 years

Location: Bangalore, On-site

Job Overview:

As a Software Tester, you will collaborate closely with project developers, business analysts, and the team to ensure that our software solutions meet and exceed user expectations. You will be

responsible for developing test cases, performing various types of testing, conducting root cause analysis on defects, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our software testing processes. Additionally, you will evaluate the functioning of the website and provide valuable feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaboration and Requirement Analysis:

- Work collaboratively with project developers, business analysts, and the team members to

understand software requirements and user expectations.

2. Testing and Defect Management:

- Perform root cause analysis on defects found during testing to identify underlying issues and

potential project risks.

- Conduct exploratory and usability testing to proactively discover and report bugs before software

release.

- Execute comprehensive testing against the software to ensure all features function as designed

and meet intended user needs.

3. Website Functionality Check and Feedback:

- Regularly evaluate the functionality of the website to ensure it meets usability standards and user

expectations.

- Provide constructive feedback to developers and stakeholders regarding the website's

performance, user interface, and overall user experience.

4. Documentation and Reporting:

- Document test results, track defects, and provide clear and concise reports on testing progress

and outcomes to stakeholders.

- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing results,

feedback, and priorities.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work

experience).

● Proven experience as a Software Tester or Quality Assurance Analyst.

● Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

● Experience in developing and executing test cases based on requirements and specifications.

● Ability to perform root cause analysis and effectively mitigate project risks related to defects.

● Proficiency in conducting exploratory testing and usability testing to identify potential issues.

● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Manual QA Requirement: Manual QA Testers – Mobile Application Testing 2–3 Manual QA Testers to support an ongoing mobile application project. Key Requirements: ● 3–5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on mobile application testing (mandatory). ● Hands-on experience testing applications built on React Native. ● Basic understanding of Java-based microservices on the backend. ● Working knowledge of Detox (React Native testing framework) is preferred. ● Good to have: ○ Exposure to fintech, particularly with an understanding of trading or investment platforms. ○ Experience with Playwright (not mandatory). 

Role: Senior QA

• Exp: 3-5 Years
• Salary: up to 80K INR Per Month
• Location: In Office, Ahmedabad (Maninagar)
• Acceptable Notice Period: Immediate To 30 Days

Key Responsibilities:

• Test Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for the e-commerce gift card product, covering functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing when necessary, focusing on critical paths, edge cases, and user experience.
• Bug Management: Identify, document, and track bugs using JIRA or similar tools. Work with the development team to prioritize and resolve issues.
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and UX/UI designers, to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure product quality.
• Performance Testing: Lead efforts to test the scalability and performance of the gift card platform, ensuring it can handle high volumes of transactions and users.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic QA Manager to lead our quality assurance team in delivering high-quality software products for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual and automation testing, with hands-on experience in SQL, UNIX commands, STLC/SDLC, and managing QA for critical financial systems. You will be responsible for test strategy creation, resource planning, stakeholder communication, and ensuring process adherence to deliver robust and secure systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Team & Test Management

• Lead and manage a team of manual and automation testers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
• Define and execute test strategies and plans for each product release in alignment with business goals and timelines.
• Oversee test case design, execution, and test data management to ensure full coverage across all functionalities.
• Plan and manage QA deliverables in coordination with release and sprint planning.

Process & Quality Oversight

• Ensure compliance with STLC, SDLC, and Defect Management processes.
• Maintain and manage QA environments, ensuring they are up-t-date and aligned with production-like conditions.
• Implement best practices and continuously improve QA processes for efficiency and quality

Stakeholder & Communication Management

• Serve as a primary point of contact for all QA-related updates across internal teams and external partners.
• Provide regular DSR (Daily Status Reports) and WSR (Weekly Status Reports) to stakeholders.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders regarding quality issues, risks, and expectations.

Technical Responsibilities

• Work with SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Use UNIX commands for system checks, log analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and release engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills & Experience:

Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and UNIX/Linux commands.
• Proficient in manual test case creation and automation testing processes.
• Good understanding of QA tools like JIRA, TestRail, Confluence, and defect tracking systems.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks and scripting languages (optional but a plus).

Domain Expertise:

• Solid understanding of payment systems, including ATM, E-commerce transactions, settlement, and reconciliation workflows.
• Experience in testing APIs, transaction flows, chargebacks, refunds, and financial reporting systems.

Leadership & Soft Skills:

• Proven experience in leading QA teams and managing test resources effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of defects and quality issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of total QA experience with at least 2 years in a QA leadership/ managerial role.
• Experience in fintech, banking, or payment processing environments is strongly preferred

• Must have experience in product management methodology such as agilenon-process oriented environment
• Should have experience in any of the ALM tools such as TFS JIRA or even be open to build application reporting structure in excel.
