Looking for a Lead/Senior Tester. This role is a mix of Managerial + Testing. A prior experience in handling teams is good.
Must have minimum 2 years of Manual experience with 2 years of Automation.
Knowledge of testing webapps is must.

Candidate must have good communication skills.

Experience in Selenium or cypress is must.

Prior background of financial application is good to have

Responsibilities

1-Should have played a vital role in Setting up Automation Frameworks, Processes, and Standards.

2-Expert proficiency in automation scripting using Java or other scripting languages.

3-Experience in using automation tools like Selenium/Webdriver, Sikuli, Junit/JMeter, etc.

4-Good expertise in System, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Ad-Hoc, Browser Compatibility, and Interface testing.

5-Prepare test case for Functional, Non-Functional, Integration and Usability, UI.

6-Experienced with a defect and bug tracking tools like Bugzilla, JIRA, etc.

7-Hands on experience in Test Planning, Test designing, and Test Execution, Defect Tracking & Defect Reporting.

8-Experience working in an agile development environment and scrum methodologies.

9- Involvement in setting up Test Environments, Requirements Management, Requirement Analysis.

10-Good understanding of database.

11-Should have experience in API testing.

12- Should have knowledge of payment gateway testing.

13- Good Knowledge of Performance Testing, Regression Testing, DataBase testing, Android Testing.

• Work closely with engineers and product managers in rolling out new features and enhancements across Typito.
• Own and manage an exhaustive list of test-cases as part of the product development and document iterations of testing we do

Requirements:

• Experience - At least 2 years experience being part of a QA team with defined responsibilities that gave you exposure to efficient testing and deployment processes.
• Impeccable communication skills - You'll be collaborating with multiple teams, having the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical people is necessary.
• Critical thinking skills - You know how to think from a customer's perspective throughout the entire development cycle #empathy. You should be able to create lots of "What If" scenarios and make sure the app is battle-tested to handle those scenarios.
• Quick learner - Typito app is changing at a rapid pace, there is no single way to handle issues that come up. You must adapt quickly to new tools and techniques that keep improving your own workflow.
• Collaboration skills - As mentioned above, you'll be collaborating with developers and product managers, alike. WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Proactively learn and understand the existing platform and proposed new feature requirements
• Designs create, and executes test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures that address areas such as database impacts, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
• Collaborate with the other members to create a world-class QA function
• Verify or validate model outcomes
• Python coding
• Identify, analyze, and document problems with requirements, program functionality, and /or data
• Validate Production releases
• Document software defects, using a bug tracking system (Azure Dev Ops), and report defects to software developers and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience working in an IT environment
• Experience putting together a roadmap plan for QA functions and features
• Experience performing feature testing on multiple applications and platforms
• Experience in writing, executing, testing SQL queries, and ETL processes
• Experience in API testing
• Experience in DevOps
• Experience in Insight validation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to the Microsoft BI stack including (Azure SQL, SQL Server, SQL queries, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, SSAS, Power BI, SSRS)
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops
• Experience with data warehouse and/or BI environments
• Experience with an Agile software methodology
• Experience designing, developing and maintaining automated test scripts
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Automation skills
• Good to have Python DS/ML library knowledge

• Good knowledge in manual testing through test case estimation, test case preparation, and test reporting
• Design & develop test cases based on available requirement specifications and verification plans, execute tests cases at least 1+ years
• Good experience in Ad-Hoc testing, Functional testing, Regression testing, Re-testing, Smoke testing, running Selenium automated tests for 3+ years.
• Knowledge in Selenium and Java.
• Good exposure to Non-functional testing
• Very good at completing the assigned testing tasks on time.
• Ability to learn and implement quickly.
• Prepare detailed defects report.
• Good communication skills and documentation skills.
• Good to have knowledge in both Web application and Mobile application testing, test management tool, defect management tool and test metrics.
