Summary/Objective:

We are seeking an experienced Automation QA (Quality Assurance) professional to join our team in Indore. As an Automation QA, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. You will work closely with the development team to identify areas for automation and implement efficient testing strategies.

Responsibilities/Duties:

1.     Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver and other automation tools.

2.     Execute automated test suites to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability across different platforms and environments.

3.     Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, identify test scenarios, and develop comprehensive test plans.

4.     Collaborate with developers to ensure that test cases are integrated into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

5.     Analyze test results and report defects in a clear and concise manner, providing detailed information to facilitate debugging and resolution.

6.     Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to provide QA input and feedback.

7.     Continuously research and evaluate new testing tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

8.     Contribute to the development and maintenance of QA documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test reports.

Qualifications/Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience:

• 2 to 3 years of experience in automation testing, preferably in a software development environment.
• Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• ISTQB or similar certification in software testing.

About The Role

CapitalNow.in technical team is seeking a hands-onQA Engineer with a noted experience on Manual Mobile Application, API Testing  and has the knowledge on Database.. The technical team is responsible for developing the supported mobile application and web app for customers and a control panel for the marketing team involved in CapitalNow.in.

Responsibilities

• Involved in Product discussions and discussions on impact analysis.
• Writing Test cases and Test scenarios for the application and passing QA for regular updates.
• Daily sanity checks to ensure that the product is working as expected.
• Assured quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported technology domains.
• Leads modules and as an escalation point, provides guidance and direction to less experienced staff in resolution of highly complex technical problems..

Essential Qualifications

• Have at least 3 years of hands-on working experience in Quality Analysis.
• Have 1+ years of experience in Database Queries (mySQL or similar).
• Have in depth knowledge on writing Test Cases and Test Scenarios.
• Have experience on writing complex queries using MySQL.
• Having knowledge on JIRA or similar tracking tools.
• Experience working in large projects with ability to multitask.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Qualifications

• Having experience working in the Financial Services domain (good if it's in capital markets) is an added advantage.
• Immediate joiner is most preferable.

• Reviews design specifications to understand the scope, requirements, and function of the software product.
• Preparation of test data and execution of test cases (including functional, system, regression, performance, API and database layer etc.)
• Identifies appropriate processes, parameters, functions, and data to test and validate; parameters may include general function, the validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Lead and participate in test case reviews with Business, Developers, other team members
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
• Ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools
• When a product does not perform within specifications, reporting defects to programmers while identifying and recommending solutions, improvements, and updates.
• Identifies, logs, and recreates error codes, bugs, and defects.
• Draft quality assurance policies and procedures
• Investigate production issues
• Conducts testing to ensure products perform according to product requirements and within established guidelines.

• Familiarity with programming script languages including Java and VBScript.
• Excellent analytical skills.
