Job Summary:

The Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all food and FMCG products meet established quality and safety standards. The role involves monitoring production processes, conducting inspections, analyzing samples, and implementing corrective actions to maintain product consistency, compliance, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control quality parameters throughout the production process.
• Conduct routine inspections, sampling, and testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished goods.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, GMP, and other relevant standards.
• Develop, implement, and update quality control procedures and SOPs.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
• Conduct root cause analysis of product deviations, rejections, or customer complaints.
• Maintain proper documentation, inspection reports, and audit records.
• Coordinate with external agencies for certifications, audits, and regulatory inspections.
• Ensure proper hygiene, sanitation, and safety practices within production areas.
• Train and guide staff on quality awareness, food safety, and compliance practices.

We at Thena are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer with 2-4 years of industry experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing and deploying ML models that drive business value and have a strong background in ML Ops.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, fine-tune, and deploy ML models for B2B customer communication and collaboration use cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design models, and deploy them in production.
• Optimize model performance and accuracy through experimentation, iteration, and testing.

As a Data Engineer, your role will encompass: 

• Designing and building production data pipelines from ingestion to consumption within a hybrid big data architecture using Scala, Python, Talend etc.   
• Gather and address technical and design requirements.  
• Refactor existing applications to optimize its performance through setting the appropriate architecture and integrating the best practices and standards. 
• Participate in the entire data life-cycle mainly focusing on coding, debugging, and testing. 

• Troubleshoot and debug ETL Pipelines. 
• Documentation of each process. 

Technical Requirements: - 

• BSc degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering. (Masters is a plus.) 
• 2+ years of experience as a Data Engineer. 

• In-depth understanding of core ETL concepts, Data Modelling, Data Lineage, Data Governance, Data Catalog, etc. 
• 2+ years of work experience in Scala, Python, Java. 
• Good Knowledge on Big Data Tools such as Spark/HDFS/Hive/Flume, etc. 
• Hands on experience on ETL tools like Talend/Informatica is a plus. 
• Good knowledge in Kafka and spark streaming is a big plus. 

• 2+ years of experience in using Azure cloud and its resources/services (like Azure Data factory, Azure Databricks, SQL Synapse, Azure Devops, Logic Apps, Power Bi, Azure Event Hubs, etc). 
• Strong experience in Relational Databases (MySQL, SQL Server)  
• Exposure on data visualization tools like Power BI / Qlik sense / MicroStrategy
