Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Software Tester to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of Shipthis’s ERP platform through thorough manual and functional testing. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software releases on time.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, review, and execute detailed manual test cases for Shipthis’ ERP application
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and end-to-end testing across modules
• Identify, document, and track defects clearly, ensuring proper follow-up and closure
• Validate bug fixes and feature enhancements before production releases
• Collaborate closely with developers to understand requirements and resolve issues efficiently
• Participate in requirement reviews to provide early feedback from a QA perspective
• Ensure test documentation is updated based on product changes and releases
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes and testing standards

Requirements

• Strong experience in end-to-end manual/functional testing of web-based applications (preferably SaaS or ERP platforms)
• Good understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC
• Hands-on experience in writing and maintaining test cases, test scenarios, and test reports
• Ability to analyze requirements and identify test coverage gaps
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• High attention to detail with a quality-first mindset
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Existing knowledge of automation testing or a strong willingness to learn automation will be an added advantage
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, Playwright/Cypress will be an added advantage

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Computer Science, or any related discipline

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products through manual and automated testing. The Senior QA Engineer will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve quality issues, as well as develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience with both manual and automation testing methodologies and tools.

What you’ll be doing:

• Develop and execute manual test cases for new features and enhancements
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools
• Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to identify, reproduce, and resolve defects
• Participate in code and design reviews to provide feedback on testability and quality
• Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Identify, prioritize, and report defects and issues to the development team
• Analyze and interpret test results to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and quality criteria
• Ensure that all testing is completed on time and within budget
• Continuously improve the testing process through the use of new testing tools, methodologies, and best practices
• Mentor and train other team members in manual and automation testing techniques

What you’ll bring:

• 5-7 years of experience in the software quality field
• At least 1 year of experience working in the eCommerce domain and familiarity with Agile methodology
• Familiarity with the entire software development life cycle and test cycles (Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Stress & Scale, Smoke & Sanity)
• Understanding of microservices and serverless architecture and deployment
• Understanding of existing QA best practices and methodologies to design, implement and automate processes
• Detailed and effective written communication skills for documenting the features tested and bugs found
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, extremely responsive and able to prioritize a large number of tasks
• Self-motivated, work well independently and with others

Job Summary:

We're looking for a passionate Quality Analyst (QA) Engineer across all levels, who will work closely with the developers with agile setup to create and executes product test plans to ensure software products meet design specifications and product quality standards. Assists the Development team with process improvements to continuously improve product quality.

What you will be doing:

• Thorough understanding of requirements
• Create detailed and well-structured test plans, and test cases, and perform manual testing of web or mobile applications.
• Pencil all the software defects with severity and priority using Jira as a bug-tracking system & test management platform
• Involvement in the root cause analysis of issues.
• Acquires and maintains knowledge of the existing projects, operations, or systems
• Continuously improve customers' overall testing strategy, take part in daily stand-up meetings, provide feedback
• Follow the agile process.

What you will bring:

• Must have 2-7 years of manual testing experience including API Testing and other testing.
• Must-Have Experience with end-to-end testing.
• Experience with different types of testing such as sanity, smoke, regression, integration, cross-browser, compatibility, etc.
• Must have a good understanding of QA concepts and methodologies.
• Good understanding of the SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, test design techniques, estimation of testing, test case documentation, defect logging, and defect analysis
• Self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Added bonus if you have:

• E-commerce / ERP domain experience
• Experience with mobile application testing
• Working with Agile Methodology
• Experience with performance and load testing (JMeter etc.)

Educational Qualification:

• M.B.A/M.C.A, B.Tech/B.E (IT/Computers), B.Sc/M.Sc. (IT/Computers) or any equivalent graduation or post-graduation
