Role Overview

The Category Manager – Sourcing will be responsible for managing end-to-end sourcing of refurbished mobile devices. This role requires strong experience in supplier negotiations, pricing, inventory planning, and margin optimization. The ideal candidate should currently be working as a Sourcing Manager or above in a leading refurbished mobile or recommerce organization.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Price Management

• Lead negotiations with sourcing partners and suppliers to achieve competitive buy prices and margins
• Drive month-on-month (MoM) category and brand-level performance metrics
• Analyze margin performance and ensure alignment with overall business targets

Inventory Planning & Forecasting

• Own SKU-level and city/store-level demand forecasting
• Ensure optimal inventory availability while controlling aging and excess stock
• Coordinate with sourcing partners to ensure timely availability of key models and launches

Partner & Performance Management

• Set and track monthly sourcing and sales targets
• Design incentive and payout structures to improve supplier performance and supply consistency
• Build long-term, scalable relationships with sourcing partners

Catalogue, Data & MIS

• Ensure accurate catalogue pricing, grading, and product information across platforms
• Track key metrics such as stock aging, sell-through, fill rate, and supplier performance
• Generate MIS reports and provide actionable insights to leadership

Education

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, buying, or category management within refurbished mobiles, recommerce, or consumer electronics
• Mandatory: Currently working as a Sourcing Manager or above in a large-scale refurbished mobile organization (Cashify or equivalent ecosystem experience preferred)

Skills & Competencies

• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• High analytical ability with strong command of Excel and MIS reporting
• Deep understanding of refurbished mobile grading, pricing, and demand trends
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers, SKUs, and targets simultaneously

IT Operations Management:

 Oversee daily IT operations including infrastructure, service desk, data center,

and network management.

 Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all IT services and

platforms.

 Implement and uphold ITIL best practices across incident, change, problem, and

service management.

 Lead and mentor the IT operations team to achieve performance and service

excellence.

 Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in IT service delivery.

Presales Support for Managed Services:

 Collaborate with Sales and Solution Architects to develop tailored Managed

Services offerings for prospective clients.

 Participate in client meetings to present operational capabilities, service

models, and SLAs.

 Contribute to proposals, RFP responses, and technical documentation for

managed services solutions.

 Provide technical insights and feasibility assessments for client requirements.

Customer Infrastructure Transition:

 Lead the transition and onboarding of customer IT environments into our

Managed Services framework.

 Define and execute transition plans including discovery, documentation,

handover, and stabilization.

 Coordinate with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure smooth

migration of services and minimal disruption.

 Identify risks and mitigation strategies during the transition phase.

Vendor and Compliance Management:

 Manage third-party service providers and ensure SLA compliance.

 Ensure adherence to industry standards, security practices, and regulatory

requirements.

 Participate in IT budgeting, procurement, and capacity planning.

• Structured Query Language (SQL), e.g. SQL/PSM, Transact-SQL queries, writes SQL scripts in SQL Server 2000/2005/ 2012/ 2016, etc.
• 1+ years in Cloud Database services like AWS Dynamo DB / RDS
• Excellent Troubleshooting skills of existing functional implementation to derive leaner solutions and effective performance between applications software, systems software, and installed hardware.
• Database instance maintenance tasks such as DB Integrity Checks, Index Maintenance.
• High availability like clustering, log shipping, mirroring, replication.
• Backup and disaster recovery, Capacity planning and performance monitoring, Physical database structure, RDMS administration roles, instances, profiles, and security connectivity.
• Developing, implementing, maintaining, and following change control and testing processes for modifications to databases.
• Establishing backup and recovery or replication plans to minimize data loss and system downtime.
• Improving data quality through data analysis, monitoring, gap analyses, and working with the teams to provide solutions and resolve errors.
• Maintaining data integrity and security (manage roles and permissions of database users).
• Reviewing the security logs from the SQL Server Error Logs to determine if you had a breach or a violation in one of your policies.
• Ensures optimal database performance and availability.

• Flutter experience 1+ years • Experience in the teamwork using git is the must.

• Experience in using native Android or iOS code in Flutter project.

Designation: Backend Developer

Location:  Mumbai (Currently Remote)

Principal Accountabilities:

• Develop, Enhance, and Modify Applications for a Global Market Environment.
