Job Description – Senior Technical Business Analyst

Location: Trivandrum (Preferred) | Open to any location in India

Shift Timings - 8 hours window between the 7:30 PM IST - 4:30 AM IST

About the Role

We are seeking highly motivated and analytically strong Senior Technical Business Analysts who can work seamlessly with business and technology stakeholders to convert a one-line problem statement into a well-defined project or opportunity. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who have a strong foundation in data analytics, data engineering, data visualization, and data science, along with a strong drive to learn, collaborate, and grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be responsible for translating complex business challenges into actionable user stories, analytical models, and executable tasks in Jira. You will work across the entire data lifecycle—from understanding business context to delivering insights, solutions, and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Analytical Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to understand one-line problem statements and translate them into detailed business requirements, opportunities, and project scope.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and business insights.
• Create documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, process flows, and analytical models.
• Break down business needs into concise, actionable, and development-ready user stories in Jira.

Data & Technical Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data engineering teams to design, review, and validate data pipelines, data models, and ETL/ELT workflows.
• Build dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using leading BI tools to communicate insights effectively.
• Apply foundational data science concepts such as statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning fundamentals.
• Validate and ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy across datasets and systems.

Collaboration & Execution

• Work closely with product, engineering, BI, and operations teams to support the end-to-end delivery of analytical solutions.
• Assist in development, testing, and rollout of data-driven solutions.
• Present findings, insights, and recommendations clearly and confidently to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skillsets

Core Technical Skills

• 6+ years of Technical Business Analyst experience within an overall professional experience of 8+ years
• Data Analytics: SQL, descriptive analytics, business problem framing.
• Data Engineering (Foundational): Understanding of data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, cloud data platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure preferred).
• Data Visualization: Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent tools.
• Data Science (Basic/Intermediate): Python/R, statistical methods, fundamentals of ML algorithms.

Soft Skills

ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Project Owner / Project Manager with a strong development foundation to lead our technology initiatives. This role bridges client management and technical execution you will own endto-end delivery of multiple concurrent projects while supporting a high-performing remote team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project & Delivery Management

• Own and manage multiple concurrent technology projects from initiation to production release
• Define project scope, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation plans
• Distribute tasks effectively across a team of developers, QA, and support engineers
• Track assigned work daily, follow up on progress, and proactively remove blockers
• Ensure all projects meet deadlines and quality benchmarks without compromise
• Participate actively in production activities and take full accountability for live deployments

US Client Management

• Serve as the Technology single point of contact for all assigned US clients
• Attend and lead client calls that are focused on an ARDEM Technical Solution. This may include discussions related to future clients or existing clients (US time zone overlap required)
• Resolve client queries, manage escalations, and ensure high client satisfaction
• Showcase company-developed applications and software demos confidently to clients
• Translate complex client requirements into clear technical deliverables for the team

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and performance-manage a distributed remote team of technical members
• Foster accountability, ownership, and a high-delivery culture within the team
• Conduct sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and performance reviews
• Identify skill gaps and work with HR/training teams to bridge them

Process & Operations

• Deeply understand ARDEM's internal processes and align project execution accordingly
• Ensure development standards and best practices are followed across all projects
• Manage crisis situations with composure, identify root causes and drive swift resolution
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including HR, Operations, Training, and QA
• Maintain project documentation, status reports, and risk registers

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years of total experience in software development and project management
• 5–7 years of hands-on coding experience in one or more technologies listed below
• 2–3 years in a team management or tech lead role overseeing 5+ members
• Proven experience managing multiple simultaneous projects in a remote/WFH environment
• Prior experience working with US-based clients strong understanding of US work culture and expectations

TECHNICAL SKILLS

• Python: scripting, automation, data processing, backend services
• JavaScript / Node.js: server-side development, REST APIs, async workflows
• NET Core: enterprise application development and service integration
• SQL Databases: query optimization, schema design, stored procedures
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and deployment processes
• Ability to review code, understand architectural decisions, and guide the team technically

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English client-facing confidence is a must
• Strong crisis management and conflict resolution ability under tight deadlines

QUALIFICATIONS

ServiceNow Configuration

Perform ServiceNow Configurations to build the ServiceNow scoped custom application for Purchase Request Management Workflows.

The activities would include:

Provide technical advisory for building a scalable and sustainable solution for Client.

Configure Application Data Model - Tables, forms, fields

Configure Application layout - Form and List layouts

Configure Users Data, create groups, assign roles

Setup Access Controls and Security Controls for the Application Scope

Portal/Workspace layout and foundational Setup

Create sub flows for all processes required for PRM flow

Configure end to end approval/review processes, business logics

Integrate Workorder creation sub flow with the main flow

Workflow Design- Publish for all processes

Build Redline Review Data model with ServiceNow Assessments & Surveys

Reports and Dashboards

Configure Integrations to ServiceNow platform

Responsibilities

• Plan content calendar and oversee execution of all visual design projects for the content design team.

• Execute all-digital, video & print communication for Hidesign and Hidesign group of companies–The Promenade, Le Dupleix, Casablanca.

• Areas managed: Campaign shoots, Video & still photography, Video editing, Print media - ads / publication / collaterals / illustrations / web design (experience in UI/UX plus)

•Design of advertisements, in-store promotions & offers, menus, posters, tent cards, stationery design, VM props (involving print media), catalogs, booklets, brochures, e-mailers, banners and web pages for website, online offers

• Responsible for video editing.

Position Summary-

This role will support the customer implementation of a data quality and reliability product. The candidate is expected to install the product in the client environment, manage proof of concepts with prospects, and become a product expert and troubleshoot post installation, production issues. The role will have significant interaction with the client data engineering team and the candidate is expected to have good communication skills.

Required experience

1. 6-7 years experience providing engineering support to data domain/pipelines/data engineers.
2. Experience in troubleshooting data issues, analyzing end to end data pipelines and in working with users in resolving issues
3. Experience setting up enterprise security solutions including setting up active directories, firewalls, SSL certificates, Kerberos KDC servers, etc.
4. Basic understanding of SQL
5. Experience working with technologies like S3, Kubernetes experience preferred.
6. Databricks/Hadoop/Kafka experience preferred but not required
