Frontend Developer

Opportunity Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic engineer with experience building Salesforce AppExchange apps to lead the development of Salesforce connectors for our marketing technology products.

What would you do?

·      Collaborate with stakeholders in establishing application requirements, determining features, creating customer-friendly solutions, and determining support needs and performance requirements. 

·      Plan, design, develop, test, and deploy software to satisfy these requirements. 

·      Work according to the agile programming application development methodology adhered to including test-first, iterative development, and continuous re-prioritization.  

·      Support the maintenance of our hosted technology solutions. 

·      Work with other team members in accomplishing group objectives and participating in code reviews. 

·      Ensure timely and robust implementation of the company’s development plans.

·      Ensure that all relevant parties are kept up to date on progress of projects and give feedback on an ongoing basis. 

·      Contribute to the review, selection, and adoption of proprietary tools and technologies. 

·      Use specialist knowledge and experience of information technology to provide technical advice and vision.

Technical Skills

The following skills are needed for this role.

Experience

·      5+ years’ experience in web application design and development 

·      Bachelor’s Degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience 

Primary Skills

·      Strong background in Front-end technologies – HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, etc. 

·      Experience with node.js

·      An understanding of User Experience and a background in building intuitive interfaces. 

Secondary Skills (nice to have)

·      Experience with Shopify integrations.

·      Experience building native apps for other platforms.

·      Experience with Salesforce APEX, VisualForce, SOQL, etc.

·      AWS ecosystem and tools, particularly developing for serverless environments. 

·      Any experience with other languages will be beneficial.

• Develop new user-facing features

• Strong understanding of JavaScript, its quirks, and workarounds

This person MUST have:

• BE Computer Science, MCA or equivalent
• Extreme CSS skills

Location

• Remotely, anywhere in India

Timings:

• 40 hours a week but with 4 hours a day overlapping with client timezone.  Typically clients are in California PST Timezone.

Position:

Detailed Job Description :

Exp – 4- 8 Years

Primary Skill - (3 yrs min in React is required), Typescript/Javascript, HTML/CSS, should be ok

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• 2-6 years experience of design and development experience building scalable & distributed systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering from reputed institutes.

SKILLS

• Agile Project Management

• Excellent coding, debugging skills.
• Hands-on experience on the following tech stacks:
  ReactJs, NodeJs, TypeScript, PostgresSQL/MongoDB, Nginx, Pm2, Redis, Bootstrap, CSS
• Knowledge of Microservices and REST APIs.
• Must have: Experience with managing server infra in hybrid cloud AWS & GCP.
• Must Have: Very good understanding of OOPS and design patterns.
• Nice to have: Hands-on-experience with analytics using ELK stack/ Mixpanel.

MUST Have

• 4-6 years of experience in application software development ( UI stack development )
• Sound knowledge of computer science fundamentals
• Proven ability to design and implement a complex (scalable and distributed ) application software on linux platform
• Hands on any of the language reactjs, Javascript
• Expert in software processes and tools ( Agile, CI/CD, Git, Jenkins )

Good to Have

• Experience in application migration to cloud
