Criteria:

5. Must be proficient in test planning, writing test cases, and managing full QA cycles.

6. Must have strong knowledge of regression, smoke, and sanity testing.

7. Must have experience using ClickUp, JIRA, or similar tools for test case and bug management.

Description 

Profile Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and hands-on QA Team Lead to manage our Quality Assurance team and help improve the overall product quality. This role includes both leadership and practical testing responsibilities. The ideal candidate should be able to set up strong QA processes from scratch, guide the QA team, and ensure smooth and successful product releases. Experience in B2B SaaS, especially in the hospitality industry, will be a plus.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1) Quality Strategy & Process Setup

• Create and follow the best QA practices for our hospitality SaaS products.
• Set up manual and automation testing systems from the ground up.
• Manage the full QA process — from understanding requirements to testing and final sign-off before release.

2) Team Leadership & Management

• Lead and support the QA team members in their day-to-day work.
• Organize training to help the team improve their skills.
• Manage team workload and assign tasks effectively across different projects.

3) Testing & Execution

• Read product and technical documents to plan testing.
• Write detailed test plans, test cases, and checklists.
• Manage all testing stages including regression, smoke, and sanity tests.
• Verify fixes and issues after updates go live.

4) Tool & Workflow Management (ClickUp)

• Use ClickUp or similar tools to manage test cases, bugs, and team tasks.
• Define rules for bug severity and manage the bug tracking process.

5) Automation (Optional but Preferred)

• Automate repetitive tests like regression or smoke tests.
• Use tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright if possible.

6) Cross-Team Collaboration

• Work closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Support teams.
• Be the final checkpoint for product quality before release.

7) Reporting & Metrics

• Track QA performance — number of bugs, test coverage, and more.
• Share regular updates and reports with leadership.

Key Skills Needed:

• Experience leading QA teams and setting up QA processes.
• Strong knowledge of SaaS products and manual testing.
• Some experience with test automation tools is preferred.
• Comfortable using tools like ClickUp, JIRA, or similar.
• Good at problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Requirements:

• 8–10 years of overall QA experience in B2B SaaS companies.
• 3–5 years in a QA lead or manager role.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing, UI/UX testing, and API testing.
• Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright (preferred).

Review Criteria

• Strong UAT / Functional Test Lead Profiles
• Minimum 7 years of overall testing experience, with at least 3 years of recent UAT experience, primarily in manual testing for large enterprise or government project
• Must have worked on minimum 2 national-level e-Governance, public sector, enterprise, or marketplace projects in a UAT lead or ownership role
• 3+ years of team handling experience, leading 7–8 QA/UAT members, including task assignment, review, mentoring, and delivery ownership
• Must have complete ownership of UAT activities, including UAT planning, execution, acceptance sign-off, defect management, retesting, and regression cycles.
• Must have strong hands-on manual testing experience, with the ability to create test scenarios and test cases from BRDs, user stories, functional documents, and Figma/UI screens.
• Must be able to understand HLD/LLD documents and API specifications and perform manual API testing based on business logic.
• Must have BE/BTech/MTech/MBA (BSc/BCA alone is not acceptable; with Bsc/BCA candidates must have a relevant postgraduate degree MCA/MTech)
• Do not consider candidates with automation-heavy profiles or those lacking strong manual UAT and leadership experience
• Candidate must be based within Delhi NCR (100 km radius)

Preferred

• (Certification): ISTQB Advanced Test Manager or equivalent is preferred

We're looking for a QA Engineer to help with manual testing as well as introduce automation to our processes where possible. Candidates will need to be familiar with and able to write scripts, set up automation processes, and familiarise themselves with the products we build (web and mobile apps).

• The role will also require you to document test cases with an understanding of what the product does and how the end-user might approach it.
• Understand functional and non-functional testing requirements of web and mobile applications.
• Document functional testing scenarios and cases, for manual testing of API functionality using Postman and manual testing of User Interface elements (web, mobile, and mobile web)
• Identify or create data for testing
• Execute test cases and record status
• Log defects identified and track them through retesting and closure
• Debug using ADB commands and tools like Charles Proxy to primarily identify the root cause of failures.

Skill:

• Good understanding of mobile and web applications functionality
• Good understanding of how APIs work functionally
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
• Non-functional testing of mobile applications including but not limited to battery analysis, GPU overdraw, responsiveness, etc.

Mandatory Skill Requirements:

1. Strong Fundamentals on Manual Testing.
2. Some experience on API Automation Testing .
3. Basic understanding of any of the coding languages.(During the interview one coding question will be asked)
4. Basic understanding of SQL.(During the interview one SQL question will be asked)
5. Preferred Experience ( 2-6 yrs)

1. Development and Test Automation experience through Test Driven Development (TDD)
2. Establishing and executing Automated testing strategy for mobile apps with Tools like Perfecto Mobile/Appium or Web Driver/Selenium, TestNG and continuous integration tools like Jenkins, Git, Stampede etc.
3. Sound knowledge in JAVA is must have
4. Experience in Mobile AppDev and Test management tool (JIRA, qTest) and
5. Monitoring/Troubleshooting Tools Splunk, DynaTrace, SOAP UI

We are seeking a skilled QA engineer who has experience in automation. Candidates from startup eco-system will be preferred.

Requirements:

• Have worked on JS based automation framework i.e. Protractor or Puppeteer.
• Have minimum of 2 years of strong experience in front-end automation.
• Understand how Single Page Apps work.
• Experience of automating API tests (our current automation is via C#).
• Understand how CI/CD works.
