Requirements

• 6–12 years of backend development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java 11+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, AWS.
• Solid experience with distributed, high-volume systems.
• Strong knowledge of RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB, Cassandra).
• Hands-on with CI/CD (Jenkins) and caching technologies Redis or Similar.
• Strong debugging and system troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in payments system is a must.

We are looking for a passionate Senior Backend Developer.  You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs using Python.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python-based applications and APIs.
• Build and optimize backend systems using FastAPI/Django/Flask.
• Work with PostgreSQL/MySQL databases, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
• Develop and maintain REST APIs (GraphQL experience is a plus).
• Collaborate using Git-based version control.
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Ensure best practices in performance optimization, testing, and security.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2– 5 years of hands-on Python development experience.
• Experience in Fintech projects is an advantage
• Proven experience in FastAPI and REST API development.
• Strong database skills with PostgreSQL (preferred) and MySQL.
• Practical exposure to API integrations and third-party services.
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications in production.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services.

As a Backend Engineer, you will

• Create and maintain server-side code
• Designing database schemas to support business requirements
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Troubleshoot and debug applications
• Write unit tests
• Stay up to date with current best practices
• Collaborate with front end engineers
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data, and Design teams to assist with web-application-related technical issues and support their requirements.

• 2+ years of relevant work experience as a Backend engineer using Python frameworks like Django, Flask, etc
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Good understanding of OOP concepts
• Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience writing unit tests for the application is a plus
• Experience with building REST APIs
• Superior analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Preferred 1-3 years experience as Laravel Developer.
• Proven experience using PHP framework Laravel
• Troubleshooting issues in the implementation and debug builds.
• Writing server-side web application logic, back-end components, connect the application with other web services & support the front-end developers.
• Ability to perform UI/backend tests to optimize performance.
• Guide and Mentor other developers
• Hands-on experience in building and integrating API.
• Hands on experience in backend and frontend technologies.

Requirements:

• A degree in programming, computer science, or a related field.
• Excellent knowledge of PHP MVC architecture and OOP programming style.
• Proficiency in HTML and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of database design and querying using SQL.
• Practical experience using the MVC architecture.
• A portfolio of applications and programs to your name preferred.
• Must be able to fix bugs and errors and develop scalable apps
• Problem-solving skills and critical mind set.
• Ability to lead teams.
• Ability to work individually and handle clients.

Technical Requirement:

• At least 5 years of experience in Java, J2EE technologies.
• Expertise in doing development using Java, Spring Boot, Spring modules (Spring Security, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, etc.), Hibernate, Web Services
• Worked on REST web services.
• Worked on application server : Tomcat
• Worked on Eclipse IDE
• Knowledge of Swagger, Postman
• Worked on Database like MySQL
• Worked on Git, Maven, CI/CD pipelines
• Good to have knowledge of using Docker and Mongo DB

• Must have experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Experience with Python/Node.JS/Typescript
• At least 2+ years as back-end software developer
• A deep understanding of the benefits of the Microservice and serverless paradigms
• Prepared technical documentation, and understand why it’s important
• Understanding of database principals: SQL and NoSQL
• Collaboration and communication skills (you’ll be working with clients and internal teams)
• An understanding of programming fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms)
• Familiarity and comfort with REST API, Postman
