We (the Software Engineer team) are looking for a motivated, experienced person with a data driven approach to join our Distribution Team in Budapest or Szeged to help design, execute and improve our test sets and infrastructure for producing high-quality Hadoop software.

A Day in the life

You have...

•strong knowledge in at least 1 of the following languages: Java / Python / Scala / C++ / C#

•hands-on experience with at least 1 of the following configuration management tools: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt

Must-Have Technology Skills:

Job Description

• Good experience as a full-stack developer in DB-centric applications and should be able to write and optimize complex database queries
• Requirement gathering & understanding, effort estimation, technical design, project planning, and monitoring in an Agile environment.
• Work proactively & independently to address project requirements, and articulate issues/challenges with enough lead time to address project delivery risks.

Experience:

The candidate should have about 1+ years of experience with design and development in Java/Scala. Experience in algorithm, data-structure, database is mandatory.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design, architect and develop advanced software solutions in a cross functional Agile team supporting multiple projects and initiatives
