Job Title: Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team on a 3-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong software development background combined with expertise in test automation, quality engineering, and modern software development practices. You will play a key role in building scalable automation frameworks, driving quality initiatives, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks from scratch.
• Define and implement automation strategies across multiple applications and services.
• Create and execute automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, product managers, and QA teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform API testing, backend validation, and end-to-end testing across distributed systems.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects across various application layers.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor team members on automation best practices.
• Drive improvements in test coverage, reliability, and engineering efficiency.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to release planning and quality assurance strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3–6 years of experience in Software Testing, Test Automation, or SDET roles.
• Strong programming skills in at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.
• Solid understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Proven experience in designing and building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong knowledge of software design principles, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
• Hands-on experience with API testing and backend validation.
• Familiarity with Microservices Architecture and distributed systems.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive quality initiatives with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Exposure to Docker and containerized environments.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of performance, security, or reliability testing is an added advantage.

Contract Details

• Duration: 3 Months
• Location: Bangalore (Onsite/Hybrid as per project requirements)

The primary purpose of this internship is to provide freshers with knowledge in web development. We conduct weekly communication classes to enhance communication skills. Additionally, special orientation classes covering topics such as customer satisfaction and work ethics. You will be given training on interview preparation. Our training method simulates the corporate training approach, where students report to their mentors. By the end of this internship, you will have a strong foundation in web development.

• Responsible for applying the principles and practices of software quality assurance throughout the Software development cycle.
• Analyzing the project risk & identification of the project requirements
• Undertake internal quality audits(Co-ordinate with Graphic designer, UI Developer and Developer )
• Perform Testing methods on Web(Chrome ,Firefox ,IE and Safari )
• Perform Testing methods on iOS application and Android application.
• Responsible for performing Automation testing by using selenium tool.
• Run tests to identify problems or deficiencies in products/projects

Desired candidates must have 3-6 years experience as NodeJs Developer.

• Responsible for understanding functional and business requirements and translate them into effective code

• Ownership for ensuring code optimization, problem diagnosis, and on-time delivery
• Implement solutions as per the pre-defined framework /guidelines and adherence to processes
• Finding an optimal solution for the problem statement

What candidate should know about:

• Excellent hands-on experience with Node.Js, Express.Js, JavaScript
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Excellent hands-on experience with MongoDB, Mongo aggregation, MySQL
• Ability to build REST services, Authentications, MVC applications
• Excellent Object Oriented Programming skills and ability to write modular, secure, scalable, and maintainable code
• Experience with Elastic Search, Redis.
• Knowledge about AWS components (S3, EC2, Cloudfront, Redis Clusters, etc.)
• Self-learning abilities are required
• Familiarity with upcoming new technologies is a strong plus

Good understanding of Java Programming language

Senior / Python Developer

We are looking for a Senior / Python Developers to join our engineering team and help us develop and maintain various software products. Your responsibilities include understanding the product very well, and lead the integration of this product into architecture.

To be successful in this role, you should have strong technical knowledge and solid experience of all steps of the software engineering process and the tools associated with those. You should be a go-getter, a clear communicator and a strong collaborator who works well in a team as well as the customer. You should want to do high quality work and produce output that you are proud of.  

• Good understanding of Python especially should have used file/directory access, data persistence, compression and archiving, cryptographic services, concurrent operations, networking and IPC, developmental tools etc.
• Good understanding of key differences in Python 2 vs 3
• Knowledge of lib2to3, six, python-future libraries. Compatibility idioms provided by these libs and their limitations, issues in using them as is.
• Knowledge of Python3 changes in data types especially str, bytes in Py3 vs str, unicode in Py2. Should be able to gauge, understand impact of this on data in transit/data at rest in a large project.
• Knowledge of using C extensions in Python code, modifying to run with Python3, Python 2-3 compatibility.
• Experience working with large python codebase.
• Working knowledge of mysql, Python ORM like sqlobject.
• Working knowledge of Common third party modules like cherrypy, falcon, gunicorn, etc.
• Good experience with basic python, no django/flask needed 
• Some code needs to run in Python 2, some in Python 3 and some in compatibility mode
