Role Overview
The HR & Operations Associate will be the engine room of our People function, responsible for the efficient and compliant execution of daily HR administrative and operational processes. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Administration, Data & Compliance
- Maintain the integrity of all employee records within the HRIS, ensuring data is accurate for hires, changes, and terminations.
- Own the end-to-end administration of Attendance tracking, Leave Management, and the generation of associated reports.
- Handle all record keeping and compliance documentation for the Internship program.
- Process and track documentation related to statutory compliance, including basic liaison for EPFO Passbook data and general labor law requirements.
- Manage employee lifecycle paperwork, including preparing contracts, NDAs, and internal communication.
2. Employee Onboarding & Operations Support
- Execute comprehensive onboarding tasks, including background checks, initial paperwork, IT setup coordination, and the preparation/distribution of joining kits.
- Handle all aspects of offboarding, including exit paperwork and coordination of asset retrieval.
- Serve as the key processor for employee support logistics, including processing relocation assistance and reimbursement claims.
- Administer employee benefits and programs, including support for insurance enrollment and basic benefits inquiries.
- Manage invoicing, vendor relations, and other ad hoc HR operations tasks as required to maintain smooth business continuity.
3. Reporting and Auditing
- Generate routine HR reports and metrics (e.g., headcount, turnover, leave usage) for management review.
- Ensure all personnel files (digital and physical) are organized and maintained in compliance with privacy regulations.
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years of dedicated experience in an HR Administrator, HR Assistant, or Operations Support role, preferably within the startup sector.
- Proven proficiency with at least one modern HR Information System (HRIS) for data management and reporting.
- Exceptional organizational skills and demonstrated ability to manage high-volume administrative tasks with high accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and discreet approach to handling sensitive employee information.
- A proactive, "get-it-done" attitude and the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, rapidly changing work environment.
