Junior Python Developer – Web Scraping

We’re looking for a Junior Python Developer who is passionate about web scraping and data extraction. If you love automating the web, navigating anti-bot mechanisms, and writing clean, efficient code, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and build robust web scraping scripts using Python.
• Work with tools like Selenium, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, and Playwright.
• Handle challenges like dynamic content, captchas, IP blocking, and rate limiting.
• Ensure data accuracy, structure, and cleanliness during extraction.
• Optimize scraping scripts for performance and scale.
• Collaborate with the team to align scraping outputs with project goals.

Requirements:

• 6 months to 2 years of experience in web scraping using Python.
• Hands-on with requests, Selenium, BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, etc.
• Strong understanding of HTML, DOM, and browser behavior.
• Good coding practices and ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain scraping strategies clearly.
• Based in Mumbai and ready to join immediately.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with headless browsers, proxy handling, and rotating user agents.
• Experience storing scraped data in JSON, CSV, or databases.
• Understanding of anti-bot protection techniques and how to bypass them.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented and self-motivated Back-end Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code that enhances workflow organization and automates various internal processes within the organization. The role involves continuous improvement of our software solutions to save man-hours and ensure overall organizational efficiency. Key tasks include development, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and maintenance of both new and existing programs.

5)    Stay Current: Keep up to date with the latest developments in the Python, RPA ecosystem and engage in best practices of software engineering.

Our client is a Communities Foundation that works in the area of skilling and livelihoods for underserved youth. This is a pioneering program with a strong PPP model, an agency-led approach to livelihoods and a vision of socio-economic transformation.

Roles and Responsibilities

● Independently lead centers for enabling at least 20% of youth from the nearby

communities to be formal jobs/self-employed

● Develop and maintain a conducive environment at the center that enables learning and a feeling of safe space for youth

● Implement the foundation program such that the youth builds ‘agency’ and over time does not need to depend on the Lighthouse Source

● Manage a team of 3-5 and handhold them for timely deliverables and high-quality

outcomes for all of the stages of the program - Community Outreach to Alumni

● Interfacing with ward–level networks

● Government (Corporators, Ward Officers, PMC personnel) – for mobilization and other

support

● NGOs – for mobilization and other support

● Corporates and Establishments – for volunteering, placements and donor/potential

donor visits

● Citizens – for volunteering

Requirements

● MSW or Post Graduation in any field, with 8+ years of experience preferably in both social

and corporate sectors.

● Self-driven, excellent time management and multitasking skills

● Strong people management, project management, and data analytics skill

● Strong orientation towards relationship-building and problem-solving

● Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and the local language

● Proven ability to plan and manage the operational process for maximum efficiency and

What you need to succeed in this job ?

• MS or BS/B.Tech in computer science or equivalent experience from top college.
• Minimum 2+ Experience in Java 8, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Cloud Gateway etc
• Good understanding of Design Patterns usage and implementations.
• REST Services and understanding and implementation of Microservices Architecture.
• Unit testing tools – Junit & Mockito.
• Experience is PostgreSQL database is must, 
• Excellent data structure & algorithm and problem solving skills.
• Should be an active contributor to developer communities like Stackoverflow is added advantage.
• Experience and knowledge of open source tools & frameworks, broader cutting edge technologies around server side development (Prometheus, Elasticsearch, Kafka).
• Must be a proven performer and team player that enjoy challenging assignments in a high- energy, fast growing and start-up workplace.
• Must be a self-starter who can work well with minimal guidance and in fluid environment.

Job description

The primary role of this position is to receive final product design from Figma and then create pixel perfect UI in React Native (iOS, Android & Web App). It is of highest priority that communication is clear and transparent. The successful candidate must have the ability to self-manage each task not requiring a large amount of detailed explanation to complete.

Responsibilities

• Build pixel-perfect, buttery smooth UIs across both mobile platforms and Web App.
• Leverage native APIs for deep integrations with both platforms and Web App.
• Maintain code and write automated tests to ensure the product is of the highest quality.

Skills

• Firm grasp of the JavaScript (and TypeScript) language and its nuances, including ES6+ syntax
• Knowledge of (functional or object-oriented) programming
• Ability to write well-documented, clean JavaScript code
• Fluent at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
• Rock solid at working with third-party dependencies and debugging dependency conflicts
