Graphic Designer

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the In-House team to understand given objectives and requirements for various Blog, Print media, and other projects.
• Develop visually appealing and impactful designs for print materials, including brochures, flyers, posters, packaging, and promotional materials.
• Apply a strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theory to create designs that align with brand guidelines and resonate with the target audience.
• Transform concepts into high-quality print-ready artwork while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Utilize a mix of design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), to bring design concepts to life.
• Stay updated with industry trends in design and implement best practices to deliver high-quality, innovative designs.
• Work closely with the In-House team to ensure seamless execution and delivery of final printed materials.
• Collaborate with the internal team to gather feedback, make revisions, and ensure design solutions meet given goals.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Education in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Proven experience of 3-4 years as a Creative Graphics Designer with a focus on social media.
• A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of social design projects, including brochures, flyers, packaging, and more.
• Proficiency in design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
• Strong understanding of different types of print production processes, color management, and typography.
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for layout and composition.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a creative team.
• Convey design ideas and receive feedback effectively.

Must Haves:

• Minimum 4-9 years of design experience

• At least three years of experience working on digital products which include creating highly-detailed annotated wireframes, user flows, process flows and high-fidelity screens

• Worked on Information Architecture, Interaction Design and Product Design

• Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, particularly as applied to Web-based applications and mobile applications Can establish and run a good design process (exploratory and evaluative research, sprints, reviews etc.)

• Are comfortable with and interested in actively designing the product by himself/herself

• Familiarity and experience with standard design, prototyping, and user research tools, such as Figma, Miro, and Sketch.

Responsibilities :

- Execute and drive multiple UI UX projects by diagnosing business and user needs.

What We're Looking For :

- A relevant design degree, or equivalent work experience in UI UX is required

- 2+ years of experience with enterprise or design-oriented systems

Primary Job Description 

1. a) Visual Design Strategy

• Work with the marketing and product team to identify visual design themes for cohesion with overall Freeup brand identity and areas for brand differentiation in the context of social commerce space.
• Work with marketing leadership to identify disruptive design strategies to enhance brand differentiation and positioning across FreeUp products and experiences

1. b) Visual Design Operations

• Provide visual design inputs for the brand calendar across all channels -social media, PR and owned channels.
• Develop and execution integrated marketing campaigns across owned ,paid and partnership media both online and offline
• Provide design templates to ensure brand visual consistency in all partner engagements, co-branded

communication & campaigns.

Qualifications

Candidate should have a strong graphic design background who is also proficient in 2D animation

• Ideally having worked for a high-growth consumer startup supplying content to social media or ads teams
• Kinetic typography and composite layering should be included in the requirements
• Bonus if they have the ability to draw/sketch by hand
• Having 3-5 years of experience (being a junior may not be a disadvantage here)
• Ready to complete an assignment e.g. a 15-second video within 24 hours
• Having an impressive portfolio to showcase, both static and short animation work
