Manual Tester (QA) (Full-Time)

We’re hiring a Manual Tester at Websites.co.in, an app that helps small businesses create their website in just 2 minutes.

Your role

– Test web and mobile applications end to end, across devices and browsers

– Create test cases, test scenarios, and test reports

– Perform functional, regression, UI and usability testing

– Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps

– Verify fixes and validate releases before go-live

– Collaborate with developers and product to improve quality and user experience

– Validate API responses using Postman, where required

What we expect

– Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC, and the defect lifecycle

– Ability to write clear, structured test cases and bug reports

– Experience testing web or mobile applications, or both

– Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as Jira or Trello

– Attention to detail, structured thinking, and ownership mindset

– 0–2 years of manual testing experience

Nice to have

– Basic API testing with Postman, basic SQL for validation

• Strong Software Engineering Profile
• Mandatory (Experience 1): Must have 5+ years of experience using Python to design software solutions.
• Mandatory (Skills 1): Strong working experience with Python (with Django framework experience) and Microservices architecture is a must.
• Mandatory (Skills 2): Must have experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka
• Mandatory (Skills 3): Must have Experience in DevOps practices and container orchestration using Kubernetes, along with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Mandatory (Company): Product companies, Experience working in fintech, banking, or product companies is a plus.
• Mandatory (Education): Educational background must be from a premium institute (IIT, IIIT, NIT, MNNIT, VITS, BITS)

Preferred

• Preferred (Skills 1): Experience in Task Queues like Celery and RabbitMQ is preferred.
• Preferred (Skills 2): Experience with RDBMS/SQL is also preferrable.

Responsibilities

• Develop cutting edge native Android or iOS applications for the mobile platform
• Build, test, maintain and enhance mobile apps having elegant and efficient UI/UX to enhance client experience
• Own features from their ideation, design, development, test, release and maintenance
• Be a resident expert of new trends and implement the latest Android/iOS features to maximize application performance
• Maintain high standards of quality and responsiveness through technical design analysis, code reviews and test automation
• Collaborate with a talented team of product managers, engineers, and designers
• Demonstrate high level of ethics, dedication and teamwork

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• 10+ years of experience in developing native Android or iOS mobile applications
• Strong knowledge of programming language in Swift or Java/Kotlin, SQLite and IDE like XCode or Android Studio
• Hands on experience in using Location Based Services, REST Web Services Integration, FCM, Firebase and Battery Optimization Techniques
• Strong experience in memory management, performance tuning and resource optimization
• Deep knowledge of mobile automation and unit testing frameworks
• Proven ability to drive large scale projects with deep understanding of Agile SDLC, high collaboration and leadership
• Experience in both Android and iOS applications is a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, judgment and decision-making skills
