Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced PHP / React.js Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in server-side programming with PHP (preferably with frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter) and front-end development using React.js. You will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain robust and scalable web applications using PHP and React.js.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for integration with front-end components.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement modern and responsive interfaces.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in PHP development.
• Strong knowledge of React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, or similar).
• Proficient understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and front-end build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.).
• Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Node.js, Next.js, or other JavaScript frameworks is a plus.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.

Role Summary:

As a Senior UI Developer, you will be responsible for building intuitive, high-performance, and

responsive user interfaces using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. You’ll work closely with

our UX designers, product managers, and backend engineers to create web experiences that

deliver value to our users and business alike.

Key Responsibilities:

● Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and troubleshooting.

● Collaborate with product managers and designers to craft user-centric features and

interfaces.

● Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.

● Ensure applications meet performance, accessibility, and responsiveness standards.

● Contribute to architectural discussions and propose improvements to existing codebase

and design patterns.

● Develop and maintain scalable and responsive web applications using Angular

(preferably Angular 13+).

● Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

● Apply design principles to create intuitive and aesthetically pleasing UIs aligned with

brand guidelines.

Required Skills:

● 6+ years of web development experience.

● 3+ years of hands-on experience in Angular development (Angular 8+ mandatory,

Angular 13+ preferred).

● Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

● Familiarity on state management with RxJS, NgRx, and RESTful APIs integration.

● Sound understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and

accessibility standards.

● Experience with SASS/SCSS, Bootstrap, Material, or other CSS frameworks.

● Understanding of web performance optimization and SEO basics for SPAs.

● Solid grasp of web design principles including layout, typography, color theory, and

usability.

● Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices.

● Experience in the travel tech domain is a strong plus.

Good to Have:

● Experience with Node.js, Express JS, MongoDB.

● Understanding of internationalization/localization in web apps.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Backend engineer, one who partners with us in creating beautiful products for teachers, students and parents alike. As a Backend engineer, you will play a major role in designing, developing and deploying high-quality web platforms. In

this multifaceted role, you will get the opportunity to work along curriculum experts, teachers, and students, and user-test the product in real school settings.

Required Skills:

Frameworks & Technologies: Node.js, Express, GraphQL, JWT

Database: SQL query writing and optimisation.

Requirements :

As an engineering team member, you will :

- Work collaboratively with product, customer support and DevOps team to build, enhance, maintain, deploy and operate our systems. 

- Continuously automate operational processes to improve efficiencies and productivity and enhance customer experience 

- Work closely with the architect to continuously refactor the system architecture and design to meet the changing landscape triggered by technology changes and business growth 

- Work with the DevOps team to build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations. 

- Ensure that development processes and deliverables always adhere to the mandates laid down for various certifications (PCI and ISO 27001 in particular)

Skills required :

- Pre-requisites : Competent in Java, database, HTML, Javascript, CSS 

- Should be passionate about technology and ready to deep dive into programming 

- Should have sound expertise of writing testable code and appreciate defect free coding 

- Should be willing to handle Ops automation and production support 

- Should be able to reason/argue/discuss/suggest solutions and alternatives

- Should be able to decipher the core problem to be solved during discussions with product team and/or customers 

- Should have good communication skills and experience working in teams

- Knowledge of Python will be an added advantage

- Experience of working in financial domain will help but not a necessity
