• You have working knowledge of algorithms and data structures with space and memory complexities
• You have 5+ years of experience as a software engineer at a SaaS or technology company, including familiarity with the different pieces of technology involved in building modern web applications
• You have worked with varied technologies including Java Spring framework Springboot, MySQL, NOSQL, Mongo/Dynamodb, Redis/MemCache, Lucene/ElasticSearch , Nginx , CDN , Spring , Hibernate , Maven , MVC Frameworks and other upcoming internet technologies.
• You have the ability to focus on understanding the technical specifications and translate the same into reusable , maintainable and executable codes within specified timelines and parameters of quality.

Radisys Corporation is looking for JAVA Backend developers with 6-10 years of experience for their Bangalore location.

The ideal candidate will be able to design and develop code for tasks after brainstorming sessions and applying best practices and coding conventions.

This position requires experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, microservices, message broker, and DB knowledge. Candidates should be skilled in developing enterprise applications that consist of FE, BE, and DB integration.

If you have experience with Docker and Kubernetes, that's an added advantage.

Must have skills :

JAVA 8, Apache Camel, Design Patterns, Web Services (REST), RabbitMQ, Build Tool (Maven or Gradle), Version Control (SVN or Git), SQL/PLSQL, Javascript, HTML, CSS, JQuery, Application Server (Websphere/JBoss/Weblogic etc.), JUnit.

The Java/Backend Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of Bytemark’s backend APIs. This person utilizes their knowledge of Java development & web technologies as an integral part of the software development team.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, maintain, and deliver highly scalable and reliable APIs
• Collaborate with development team and product owners to analyze, design, and implement user stories using an agile methodology.
• Write high-quality software code that complies with design specifications and meets development and support requirements.
• Develop unit tests and test changes using an agile methodology.
• Use a variety of tools to perform unit testing, automated builds, and source control.
• Participate as a member in Agile teams, and work with other team member to review user stories, estimate effort for user stories, and participate in sprint reviews.
• Maintaining current web and back-end features
• Learning new skills and technologies as company products and industry standards warrant

Required Skills:

• 2-6 years of experience building RESTful APIs
• 2+ year of hands-on Java experience using Play 1.x framework
• Knowledge of Spring or Grails frameworks is a plus
• Ability to write SQL.
• Understanding of OOP
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) using JUnit, Selenium or a similar technology
• Basic knowledge of Unix
