About the Role

SwitchKart is on a mission to make technology more accessible and more sustainable — we're in the business of recommerce, giving old smartphones a second life, cutting down e-waste, and extending the lifecycle of every device we touch.

We're looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer who's eager to learn, build, and grow with us. You'll work closely with senior engineers on real features across our procurement app, retailer app, pricing engines, and warranty systems, gaining hands-on experience across a diverse product ecosystem.

What You'll Do

• Build Features: Work on both frontend and backend tasks across our suite of products, under guidance from senior engineers.

• Write Clean Code: Contribute well-tested, maintainable code to our React and Node.js codebases.

• Build AI-First: Get hands-on with building features that use AI at the core — not bolted on. You'll learn to think about where AI can automate, assist, or enhance what you're building.

• Learn the Stack: Get hands-on with our databases, APIs, and deployment processes across multiple applications.

• Collaborate: Participate in code reviews, stand-ups, and sprint planning.

• Debug and Fix: Troubleshoot issues across the stack and ship fixes.

• Adapt and Grow: Adapt quickly and positively in a fast-changing environment with tight timelines, and stay open to learning new tools and technologies as our stack evolves

What We're Looking For

Must Have

• 2+ years of full stack development experience

• Working knowledge of React and Node.js

• Basic understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL)

• Eagerness to learn and grow quickly

• Strong fundamentals in data structures and problem-solving

Good to Have

• Personal projects or open-source contributions

• Exposure to REST APIs

• Familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)

We are looking to hire a skilled WordPress Developer to design and implement attractive and functional websites for our clients. You will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development including the implementation of WordPress themes and plugins as well as site integration and security updates.

To ensure success as a WordPress Developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills. Ultimately, a top-class WordPress Developer can create attractive, user-friendly websites that perfectly meet the design and functionality specifications of the client.

WordPress Developer Responsibilities:

• Meeting with clients to discuss website design and function.
• Designing and building the website front-end.
• Creating the website architecture.
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
• Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
• Conducting website performance tests.
• Troubleshooting content issues.
• Conducting WordPress training with the client.
• Monitoring the performance of the live website.

WordPress Developer Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• Proven work experience as a WordPress Developer.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
• Knowledge of code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
• Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
• Ability to project manage.
• Good communication skills.

Skills and Qualification: 

1. Experience in working MEAN stack / Full Stack platform
2. Front-end developer with knowledge of coding into NODE/EXPRESS, JavaScript, Jquery & its plugins.
3. js/Redux/React-native.
4. Knowledge of different NPM packages (Session, Async etc.).
5. Knowledge of Mongo dB/Mongoose/Nosql.
6. Knowledge of Any one framework (Mean.io/Ionic/Meteor).
7. Experience in Backbone.js or Angular.js is a must.
8. Knowledge of responsive design creation.
   CSS3 / HTML / HTML5.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Proficient in SQL, NoSQL, relational database design and methods for efficiently retrieving data 
• Experience building complex and non-interactive systems batch, distributed, etc.
• Be responsible for the technical design and experience in guiding/mentoring others.
• Strong OOPS knowledge, including experience with design patterns
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL/Oracle
• Experience with enterprise application servers like Tomcat/Weblogic/Websphere.
• Exposure to Web Services SOAP and RESTFUL
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum, TDD, and Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins, Bamboo etc.
• Excellent analytical aptitude and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer interfacing skill
