About the Role: The role is to be a part of a team that manages the day-to-day operations, design, development & maintenance of our clients  platform. Incorporating new features, enhancing & customizing the existing processes as per the needs of both internal and external customers is part of the role. You will need to work with cross-functional teams. Writing clean and reusable code, fixing critical bugs, optimizing queries, and the time complexity of the existing application are required. You will need to be able to work independently with minimal guidance.

What we are looking for:
=> Bachelors/Masters degree in Computers/IT or equivalent.
=> 5-8 years of relevant experience in web development.
=> Strong PHP, MySQL & Codeigniter (MVC Framework) hands-on experience (at least 12-15 projects).
=> Database schema design and query optimization.
=> AWS hands-on experience with EC2, ELB, RDS, CloudFront, Lambda, code deploy, etc.
=> Experience with e-commerce platforms, payment gateways will be a big advantage, especially on content-heavy platforms.
=> Hands-on experience and a good understanding of GIT Commands.
=> Good to have experience with the RESTful API.
=> Ability to decipher and write complex database queries for analysis and optimization.
=> Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality.
=> Understanding of scalability issues and their solutions.
=> Need to be articulate with a good degree of written & oral communication skills.
=> Exposure to UI/UX would be a added value.
=> We are looking for an immediate joiner (within 15 days or less).
=> This role may include night shifts.

Technical Skills Required:

• A graduate in computers or Engineering from a reputed university. 
• Hands-on experience in Microsoft C#.Net technology.
• Hands-on experience in C#, WPF, MVVM architecture
• Knowledge of TCP/IP socket programming is a plus
• Strong in OOPs concept & SQL Server.
• Windows desktop application, Dot Net, C#, Entity Framework, WPF, XAML, Unity3D.
• Building structural and architectural domain knowledge, Automobile domain knowledge
• Microsoft certification on Azure (blob storage)
• Fair understanding of HTML, CSS, Web Application, Windows Store App, Design Patterns

 

Responsibilities

● Build new features to allow for rapid product experimentation to power web and
android applications, implementing features in an efficient way
● Incrementally adapt an existing Node.js monolith for scalability and very fast growth
● Deliver within project timelines through diligent planning and attention to detail.
● Keep key stakeholders informed about progress and problems; avoid surprises.
● Identify and report performance bottlenecks wherever feasible
● Follow testing and documentation best practices for the services developed.
● Work in a dynamic and collaborative culture ensuring good teamwork and
communication with remote team members when needed

Requirements

● 2 or more years of backend development experience
● At least 1 year of experience with Node.js frameworks like Express, Koa, Sail etc.
● Strong problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
● Solid understanding design patterns and OOP concepts; familiarity with
object-oriented JS (asynchronous code, events loop etc) is highly preferable
● Strong hands-on exp of relational DBMS concepts with PostgreSQL / other SQL DBs
● Ability to quickly design and implement optimized solutions for feature requirements
● Good understanding of the fundamental design principles for a scalable application
● Strong handle over Git, following best practices to facilitate collaboration

Nice to haves

● Experience working with apps in a microservices architecture
● Familiarity with caching solutions like Redis, Memcached etc
● Knowledge of testing best practices and concepts of test-driven development and
experience with unit testing frameworks in any of the major programming languages
● Familiarity with documentation tools and generators for Node.js applications
