The designs should allow for easy development and debugging for the firmware engineers while keeping customer requirements, cost constraints and space constraints in mind. Hardware debugging knowledge and soldering skills are essential for this role.
You would also be required to have a keen eye for developing firmware with a low memory footprint and low power consumption while being robust and resistant to errors.
