Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for a hands-on AWS Cloud Engineer to support day-to-day cloud operations, automation, and reliability of AWS environments. This role works closely with the Cloud Operations Lead, DevOps, Security, and Application teams to ensure stable, secure, and cost-effective cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities-

• Operate and support AWS production environments across multiple accounts
• Manage infrastructure using Terraform and support CI/CD pipelines
• Support Amazon EKS clusters, upgrades, scaling, and troubleshooting
• Build and manage Docker images and push to Amazon ECR
• Monitor systems using CloudWatch and third-party tools; respond to incidents
• Support AWS networking (VPCs, NAT, Transit Gateway, VPN/DX)
• Assist with cost optimization, tagging, and governance standards
• Automate operational tasks using Python, Lambda, and Systems Manager

Ideal Candidate

• Strong hands-on AWS experience (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, ALB, CloudWatch)
• Experience with Terraform and Git-based workflows
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes / EKS
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)
• Scripting experience in **Python or Bash**
• Understanding of monitoring, incident management, and cloud security basics

Nice to Have-

• AWS Associate-level certifications
• Experience with Karpenter, Prometheus, New Relic
• Exposure to FinOps and cost optimization practices

DevOps Architect 

Experience:  10 - 12+ year relevant experience on DevOps

Qualification:
• Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer science, Software engineering or equivalent is required.
• Certifications in specific areas are desired

Role Purpose:

As a DevOps ,  You should be strong in both the Dev and Ops part of DevOps. We are looking for someone who has a deep understanding of systems architecture, understands core CS concepts well, and is able to reason about system behaviour rather than merely working with the toolset of the day. Responsibilities

1. Deployment, management, and administration of web services in a public cloud environment
2. Design and develop solutions for deploying highly secure, highly available, performant and scalable services in elastically provisioned environments
3. Design and develop continuous integration and continuous deployment solutions from development through production
4. Own all operational aspects of running web services including automation, monitoring and alerting, reliability and performance
5. Have direct impact on running a business by thinking about innovative solutions to operational problems
6. Drive solutions and communication for production impacting incidents
7. Running technical projects and being responsible for project-level deliveries
8. Partner well with engineering and business teams across continents

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or closely related field
2. 4 - 6 years professional experience in DevOps, with at least 1/2 years in Linux / Unix
3. Very strong in core CS concepts around operating systems, networks, and systems architecture including web services
4. Strong scripting experience in Python and Bash
5. Deep experience administering, running and deploying AWS based services
6. Solid experience with Terraform, Packer and Docker or their equivalents
7. Knowledge of security protocols and certificate infrastructure.
8. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills 
9. Broad experience with cloud hosted applications including virtualization platforms, relational and non relational data stores, reverse proxies, and orchestration platforms
10. Curiosity, continuous learning and drive to continually raise the bar
11. Strong partnering and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

1. Past experience as a senior developer or application architect strongly preferred.
2. Experience building continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
3. Experience with Zookeeper, Consul, HAProxy, ELK-Stack, Kafka, PostgreSQL.
4. Experience working with, and preferably designing, a system compliant to any security framework (PCI DSS, ISO 27000, HIPPA, SOC 2, ...)
5. Experience with AWS orchestration services such as ECS and EKS.
6. Experience working with AWS ML pipeline services like AWS Sagemak

DevOps Engineer, Plum & Empuls 

As DevOps Engineer, you are responsible to setup and maintain GIT repository, DevOps tools like Jenkins, UCD, Docker, Kubernetes, Jfrog Artifactory, Cloud monitoring tools, Cloud security.

Key Responsibilities

• Setup, configure, and maintain GIT repos, Jenkins, UCD, etc. for multi hosting cloud environments.
• Architect and maintain the server infrastructure in AWS. Build highly resilient infrastructure following industry best practices.
• Working on Docker images and maintaining Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop and maintain the automation scripts using Ansible or other available tools.
• Maintain and monitor cloud Kubernetes Clusters and patching when necessary.
• Working on Cloud security tools to keep applications secured.
• Participate in software development lifecycle, specifically infra design, execution, and debugging required to achieve successful implementation of integrated solutions within the portfolio.
• Required Technical and Professional Expertise.
• Minimum 4-6 years of experience in IT industry.
• Expertise in implementing and managing Devops CI/CD pipeline.
• Experience in DevOps automation tools. And Very well versed with DevOps Frameworks, Agile.

As a manager, you would be incharge of managing the devops team and your remit shall include the following

• Private Cloud - Design & maintain a high performance and reliable network architecture to support  HPC applications
• Scheduling Tool - Implement and maintain a HPC scheduling technology like Kubernetes, Hadoop YARN  Mesos, HTCondor or Nomad for processing & scheduling analytical jobs. Implement controls which allow analytical jobs to seamlessly utilize ideal capacity on the private cloud. 
• Security - Implementing best security practices and implementing data isolation policy between different divisions internally. 
• Capacity Sizing - Monitor private cloud usage and share details with different teams. Plan capacity enhancements on a quarterly basis.

• BackUps  - Identify and automate  back up of all crucial data/binary/code etc in a secured manner at such duration warranted by the use case. Ensure that recovery from back-up is tested and seamless. 
•  Access Control  - Maintain password less access control and improve security over time. Minimize failures for automated job due to unsuccessful logins. 
•  Operating System  -Plan, test and roll out new operating system for all production, simulation and desktop environments. Work closely with developers to highlight new performance enhancements capabilities of new versions. 
•  Configuration management  -Work closely with DevOps/ development team to freeze configurations/playbook for various teams & internal applications. Deploy and maintain standard tools such as Ansible, Puppet, chef etc for the same. 
•  Data Storage & Security Planning  - Maintain a tight control of root access on various devices. Ensure root access is rolled back as soon the desired objective is achieved.
• Audit access logs on devices. Use third party tools to put in a monitoring mechanism for early detection of any suspicious activity. 
• Maintaining all third party tools used for development and collaboration - This shall include maintaining a fault tolerant   environment for GIT/Perforce, productivity tools such as Slack/Microsoft team, build tools like Jenkins/Bamboo etc

Qualifications 

• Bachelors or Masters Level Degree, preferably in CSE/IT
• 10+ years of relevant experience in sys-admin function
• Must have strong knowledge of IT Infrastructure, Linux, Networking and grid.
• Must have strong grasp of automation & Data management tools.
• Efficient in scripting languages and python
