SDET - Python, POM, Rest Assured

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Automation Test 

Engineer/Lead with proven expertise in WebdriverIO / Playwright using 

JavaScript. You will be responsible for creating scalable automation frameworks, 

executing tests across web and API layers, and integrating testing into CI/CD 

pipelines in Agile environments.​

Key Responsibilities:​

• Design and develop automation frameworks using WebdriverIO / 

Playwright(JavaScript).​

• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to define and implement test strategies 

across UI and API layers.​

• Automate test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing for web 

applications.​

• Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and responsive testing.​

• Build and maintain scalable test scripts and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines 

(Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).​

• Conduct API Automation using WebdriverIO / Playwright(JavaScript) and 

validate backend services.​

• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.​

• Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and ensure quality across releases.​

Required Skills:​

• 3+ years of experience in test automation with expertise in WebdriverIO / 

Playwright(JavaScript).​

• Strong understanding of modern automation frameworks like POM, BDD, or hybrid 

models.​

• Proficiency in scripting and writing automation tests in Java, JavaScript 

• Experience in API automation testing using WebdriverIO / 

Playwright(JavaScript).​

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.​

• Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum team.​

• Version control using Git or Bitbucket.​

• Employee Grievance Handling:
• Should have been involved in the below:

• Resolve problems between employees and employers regarding different issues eg: compensation, processes, policies, etc. Share instances of any difficult issue resolved.
• HR Compliances & Organizational Development:
• Should have worked closely with other HR stakeholders for the following.
• Coordinate with HR Ops for registering new employees in EPF, ESI and medical benefits.
• Check and clear expense reports of employees with HR Ops
• Responsible for joining and exit interviews.
• Implementation of new policies according to the system.
• Alignment of staffing philosophy, strategies, and values with business goals. Maintain a record of all employee's data- joiners, leavers Work with auditors for all HR Audit purposes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy services to improve the availability, ease of use/management, and visibility of 6sense systems
• Architecting, building, and scaling out our services and infrastructure
• Learning and adopting technologies that may aide in solving our challenges
• Own our systems like our Hadoop and Presto clusters, front/back-end services, build configurations, infrastructure components, deployment of services into our infrastructure, and everything in between
• Write/review/debug production code, develop documentation and capacity plans, and debug live production problems
• Contributing back to open-source projects if we need to add or patch functionality
• Support the overall Software Engineering team to resolve any issues they encounter

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years in a Software Engineering role or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of experience with Linux/Unix system administration and networking fundamentals
• Strong skills in reading code as well as writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Good knowledge of Python and Java
• Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable services and/or service-oriented architecture
• Experience with high-availability

Bonus Requirements:

• Experience with modern configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and idempotency
• Exposure to modern build systems such as Bazel, Buck, or Pants
• Knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem (e.g. Hadoop, Hive, Presto) including deployment, scaling,
• and maintenance
• Knowledge of standard security practices
• 1+ years of experience working with Kubernetes, Docker
• Good knowledge of Javascript
