Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team. As a Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving our talent acquisition strategy and ensuring we attract and hire top-tier talent to support our company's growth and objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive talent acquisition strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.

• Utilize various channels and platforms to proactively source, engage and build a robust pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.

• Conduct thorough screening and assessment of candidates to ensure alignment with job requirements, cultural fit and potential for long-term success within the organization.

• Coordinate and facilitate interviews, ensuring a positive candidate experience while effectively evaluating candidates' skills, qualifications and potential.

• Collaborate with hiring managers to develop competitive and compelling offers, negotiate terms and facilitate the offer acceptance process.

• Contribute to employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing efforts to enhance the company's reputation as an employer of choice and attract top talent.

• Provide regular reports and insights to the supervisor, identifying areas for improvement and optimization

• Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices and innovative recruitment strategies and continuously seek opportunities to enhance and optimize the talent acquisition process.

• Build strong partnerships and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, including hiring managers, HR colleagues and leadership, to ensure alignment and success in talent acquisition efforts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.

• 2+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on full-cycle recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Proven track record of successfully sourcing, attracting and hiring top-tier talent across various functions and levels.

• Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, talent acquisition trends and employment laws and regulations.

• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• High level of professionalism, integrity and discretion, with a commitment to upholding confidentiality and ethical standards.

• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment while also being able to work autonomously and drive results independently.

Skills

The Observability team is in charge of developing solutions that focus on application developers and engineers that run infrastructure and services supporting these applications. Elasticsearch is an efficient datastore for logs, metrics, and application traces, supporting the three pillars of observability. The Observability team builds and maintains solutions that make getting insights from this data turnkey and efficient, such as our https://www.elastic.co/solutions/apm">APM, https://www.elastic.co/solutions/metrics">Infrastructure Monitoring, and https://www.elastic.co/uptime-monitoring">Synthetics solutions. When developing these solutions, we think about the problem end-to-end: how do we automatically collect data from common data sources, how do we store it efficiently in Elasticsearch, how do we present this information to the user, what actions do we take on the insights from the data? All of these aspects are important in bringing a turnkey solution to the market. 

You will be working on Observability Integrations to collect logs and metrics from all the systems that matter to our users, using the current and next generation of data shippers: Beats and the new Elastic Agent.

Job Location : Bangalore, India

• Work with product management to define the requirements for new https://github.com/elastic/integrations">integrations: data collection strategies, storage optimization, alerting and visualization options, refining requirements, translating requirements to stories and epics, and performing detailed scoping of features
• Develop, maintain and evolve https://github.com/elastic/integrations">integrations for multiple services using the Elastic Stack and https://github.com/elastic/elastic-package">specific tooling. For some projects, contributions to the https://github.com/elastic/beats">beats platform will be needed (Go).
• Work with our support team to help customers troubleshoot and solve their issues in production environments, ensuring SLAs are met.
• Interact with the community and help them use our products.
• Collaborate with other engineering, QA and documentation teams to execute on product deliverables.

• Experience operating or developing monitoring products, such as Elastic (ELK, Elastic Observability),  Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, New Relic, etc.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go, Java, PHP, Python, Ruby, C++,  we use Go) with strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team.
• Experience participating in technical decision-making across different engineering teams.

• Interest in learning new technologies.
• Experience contributing to open source projects.
• Hands-on experience managing cloud services at scale.
• Experience in SRE and / or DevOps roles.
• Experience monitoring or operating container orchestrators (Kubernetes, etc).

➢ Degree from top engineering college, or equivalent technical background is preferred

➢ Ability to identify issues and improve application performance

• Proficient in Java, Node or Python

• Hands-on with building and deploying micro services in Cloud (AWS/Azure)
• Experience with terraform w.r.t Infrastructure As Code
• Should have experience troubleshooting live production systems using monitoring/log analytics tools
• Should have experience leading a team (2 or more engineers)
• Experienced using Jenkins or similar deployment pipeline tools
