main objectives of the Senior Developer role

• Delivery of working software according to specifications

The key requirements include the following:

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related field
• 7+ years of development experience with Python programming
• Experience in setting up CI/CD workflows
• Experience in drafting solution architecture
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Key expertise and experience:

• Understanding of application architecture built on AWS/Python/React/MongoDB technological stack
• Proven Python skills and experience with modules such as Flask and FastAPI
• Experience in building high-load applications in AWS Cloud, preferably in a micro-service architecture
• Experience in developing commercial software, preferably in the financial domain
• Proficiency in working with legacy code and acquiring domain knowledge
• Experience with MongoDB and/or other NoSQL databases
• Experience in creating and automating tests (pytest) and using containers (Docker)
• Proficiency in using Linux-based development environments with GitHub and CI/CD
• Familiarity with the Atlassian stack (JIRA/Confluence)
• Nice to have – experience in integration with ERP, CRM, and SAP
• Nice to have – experience in building financial systems/knowledge of enterprise economics

Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager or Tech Lead to join our dynamic team in the fintech industry, focusing on stockbroking solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and leadership experience, with proficiency in our tech stacks: React.js, Flutter, Golang, and MongoDB.
• Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Oversee the design, development, and deployment of high-quality software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Ensure best practices in coding, architecture, and security are followed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead.
• Strong technical expertise in React.js, Flutter, Golang, and MongoDB.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in the fintech industry, particularly in stockbroking, is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

1. 6 months to 4 years hands on experience of PHP Laravel framework.

This profile will include the following responsibilities:

- Develop Parsers for XML and JSON Data sources/feeds

- Write Automation Scripts for product development

- Build API Integrations for 3^rd Party product integration

- Perform Data Analysis

- Research on Machine learning algorithms

- Understand AWS cloud architecture and work with 3 party vendors for deployments

The ideal candidate is a highly resourceful and innovative developer with extensive experience in the Laravel framework. We use GIT for version control and the candidate must have experience in working in a team environment using tools like Github, Gitlab, etc. 

• Perform a mix of maintenance, enhancements, and new development as required.
• Work cross-functionally to convert business needs into technical specifications.
• Help with database and backend architecture. 
• Create API endpoints

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in web development and software design
• Expertise in Laravel Framework, and MySQL databases.
• Working knowledge of GIT and Github.
• Experience with creating REST-based API endpoints

• Minimum 3 years of working experience in database related projects.
• Working experience on any of the leading Database management systems viz., Oracle,SQL-Server, etc. (Experience on Postgres database systems will be an added advantage).
• Adequate Database Development skills & should be proficient in SQL coding.
• Working experience in Database SQL Optimization/Performance Tuning.
• Working experience on any of the Database Programming languages viz., PL/SQL, PL/pgSQL,T-SQL,etc.
• Flexible to learn, adopt & scale to any data centric technologies as per the evolving Organizational product strategies.

• Good to have skill sets of the Candidate:
• Working experience on Data Warehouse projects or exhibits sound knowledge over the concepts.
• Working experience on Data Analytics/Reporting/ETL or exhibits sound knowledge over the concepts.
• Database agnostic approach to data/database solutions.
• Exhibits sound knowledge on Big-data/Hadoop, Kafka, Map-Reduce programming, NoSQL,etc.
