Infra360.io is searching for an Associate DevOps Engineer to lead our group of IT specialists in maintaining and improving our software infrastructure. You'll collaborate with software engineers, QA engineers, and other IT pros in deploying, automating, and managing the software infrastructure. As an Associate DevOps engineer you will also be responsible for setting up CI/CD pipelines, monitoring programs, and cloud infrastructure. 

Below is a detailed description of the roles and responsibilities, expectations for the role.

Tech Stack :

• Kubernetes: Deep understanding of Kubernetes clusters, container orchestration, and its architecture.
• Terraform: Extensive hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for managing cloud resources.
• ArgoCD: Experience in continuous deployment and using ArgoCD to maintain GitOps workflows.
• Helm: Expertise in Helm for managing Kubernetes applications.
• Cloud Platforms: Expertise in AWS, GCP or Azure will be an added advantage.
• Debugging and Troubleshooting: The Associate DevOps Engineer must be proficient in identifying and resolving complex issues in a distributed environment, ranging from networking issues to misconfigurations in infrastructure or application components.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• A graduation/post-graduation degree in Computer Science and related fields
• 1-2 years of strong DevOps experience with the Linux environment.

• Hands-on experience with at least one of the scripting languages - Bash, Python, Go etc

Only 10% of India speaks English and 90% speak over 25 languages and 1000s of dialects. The internet has largely been in English. A good part of India is now getting internet connectivity thanks to cheap smartphones and Jio. The non-English speaking internet users will balloon to about 600 million users out of the total 750 million internet users in India by 2020. This will make the vernacular segment one of the largest segments in the world - almost 2x the size of the US population. The vernacular segment has very few products that they can use on the internet.

One large human need is that of sharing thoughts and connecting with people of the same community on the basis of language and common interests. Twitter serves this need globally but the experience is mostly in English. There’s a large unaddressed need for these vernacular users to express themselves in their mother tongue and connect with others from their community. Koo is a solution to this problem.

Koo was founded in March 2020, as a micro-blogging platform in both Indian languages and English, which gives a voice to the millions of Indians who communicate in Indian languages.

Your Roles and Responsibilities

The Lead DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the management, monitoring and operation of our applications and services in production. The DevOps Engineer will be a hands-on person who can work independently or with minimal guidance and has the ability to drive the team’s deliverables by mentoring and guiding junior team members. You will work with the existing teams very closely and build on top of tools like Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform and support our numerous polyglot services.

Introducing a strong DevOps ethic into the rest of the team is crucial, and we expect you to lead the team on best practices in deployment, monitoring, and tooling. You'll work collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate our systems, help automate and streamline our operations and processes, build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations and troubleshoot and resolve issues in our development, test and production environments. Primary Responsibilities

• Providing strategies and creating pathways in support of product initiatives in DevOps and automation, with a focus on the design of systems and services that run on cloud platforms.
• Optimizations and execution of the CI/CD pipelines of multiple products and timely promotion of the releases to production environments
