Key Responsibilities

CI/CD and Infrastructure Automation

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support fast and reliable releases
• Automate deployments using tools such as Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes
• Improve build and release processes to support high-performance and low-latency trading applications
• Work efficiently with Linux/Unix environments

Cloud and On-Prem Infrastructure Management

• Deploy, manage, and optimize infrastructure on AWS, GCP, and on-premises environments
• Ensure system reliability, scalability, and high availability
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to standardize and streamline deployments

Performance Monitoring and Optimization

• Monitor system performance and latency using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
• Implement proactive alerting and fault detection to ensure system stability
• Troubleshoot and optimize system components for maximum efficiency

Security and Compliance

• Apply DevSecOps principles to ensure secure deployment and access management
• Maintain compliance with financial industry regulations such as SEBI
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and maintain logging and audit controls

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer in a software or trading environment
• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD)
• Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation for IaC
• Strong Linux administration and networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls)
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
• Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, or Go
• Solid understanding of security best practices including IAM, encryption, and network policies

Good to Have (Optional)

• Experience with low-latency trading infrastructure or real-time market data systems
• Knowledge of high-frequency trading environments
• Exposure to FIX protocol, FPGA, or network optimization techniques
• Familiarity with Redis or Nginx for real-time data handling

Job Description:

Infilect is a GenAI company pioneering the use of Image Recognition in Consumer Packaged Goods retail.

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our Cloud, AI workflows, and AI-based Computer Systems. Furthermore, the candidate will supervise the implementation and maintenance of the company’s computing needs including the in-house GPU & AI servers along with AI workloads.

Responsibilities

• Understanding and automating AI based deployment an AI based workflows
• Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• Manage Cloud, computer systems and other IT assets.

Requirements and skills

Responsibilities

• Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
• Planning the team structure, activities, and involvement in project management activities.
• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
• Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs
• Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
• Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
• Incidence management and root cause analysis.
• Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
• Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
• Mentoring and guiding the team members 
• Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs

Requirements

• 5-6 years of relevant experience in a Devops role.
• Good knowledge in cloud technologies such as AWS/Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with container orchestration services, especially Kubernetes experience (Mandatory) and good knowledge in Docker.
• Experience administering and deploying development CI/CD tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab, or Jenkins.
• Good knowledge in complex Debugging mechanisms (especially JVM) and Java programming experience (Mandatory)
• Significant experience with Windows and Linux operating system environments
• A team player with excellent communication skills.

• The devops engineer needs to help developers, create the Pipelines and K8s Deployment Manifests. 
• Good to have experience on migrating data from (AWS) to Azure. 

• To manage/automate infrastructure automatically using Terraforms. Jenkins is the key CI/CD tool which we uses and it will be used to run these Terraforms. 
• VMs to be provisioned on Azure Cloud and managed. 
• Good hands-on experience of Networking on Cloud is required. 
• Ability to setup Database on VM as well as managed DB and Proper set up of cloud hosted microservices needs to be done to communicate with the db services. 
• Kubernetes, Storage, KeyValult, Networking (load balancing and routing) and VMs are the key infrastructure expertise which are essential. 

• Requirement is to administer Kubernetes cluster end to end. (Application deployment, managing namespaces, load balancing, policy setup, using blue green/canary deployment models etc). 
• The experience in AWS is desirable. 
• Python experience is optional however Power shell is mandatory. 
• Know-how on the use of GitHub 
• Administration of Azure Kubernetes services 

The AWS Cloud/Devops Engineer will be working with the engineering team and focusing on AWS infrastructure and automation.  A key part of the role is championing and leading infrastructure as code.  The Engineer will work closely with the Manager of Operations and Devops to build, manage and automate our AWS infrastructure. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design cloud infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and highly available on AWS
• Work collaboratively with software engineering to define infrastructure and deployment requirements
• Provision, configure and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure defined as code
• Ensure configuration and compliance with configuration management tools
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux based systems
• Troubleshoot problems across a wide array of services and functional areas
• Build and maintain operational tools for deployment, monitoring, and analysis of AWS infrastructure and systems
• Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization

Qualifications:

• At least 1-5 years of experience building and maintaining AWS infrastructure (VPC, EC2, Security Groups, IAM, ECS, CodeDeploy, CloudFront, S3)
• Strong understanding of how to secure AWS environments and meet compliance requirements
• Expertise using Chef for configuration management
• Hands-on experience deploying and managing infrastructure with Terraform
• Solid foundation of networking and Linux administration
• Experience with CI-CD, Docker, GitLab, Jenkins, ELK and deploying applications on AWS
• Ability to learn/use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
• Strong bias for action and ownership

• Good experience in AWS services like Elastic Compute Cloud(EC2), IAM, RDS, API Gateway, Cognito, etc.
• Using GIT, SonarQube, Ansible, Nexus, Nagios, etc.
• Strong experience in creating, importing and launching volumes with security groups, auto-scaling, Load Balancers, Fault-tolerant
• Experience in configuring Jenkins job with related Plugins for     Building, Testing, and Continuous Deployment to accomplish the complete CI/CD.

• Development and maintenance of Continuous Integration System on JENKINS.
• Build management for the planned major/minor releases
• Release process management and maintenance
