Shift timings - UK timing (1pm to 10 pm or 2pm to 11pm)

Required Experience:

• 5–6 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce DevOps, release engineering, or deployment management.
• Strong expertise in Salesforce deployment processes, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Significant hands-on experience with at least two of the following tools: Gearset, Copado,Flosum.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce architecture, metadata, and development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile methodologies

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments using Gearset, Copado, or Flosum.
• Automate and optimize deployment processes to ensure efficient, reliable, and repeatable releases across Salesforce environments.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to gather requirements and ensurealignment of deployment strategies.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve deployment and release issues.
• Maintain documentation for deployment processes and provide training on best practices.
• Stay updated on the latest Salesforce DevOps tools, features, and best practices.

Technical Skills:

• Deployment ToolsHands-on with Gearset, Copado, Flosum for Salesforce deployments
• CI/CDBuilding and maintaining pipelines, automation, and release management
• Version ControlProficiency with Git and related workflows

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Certifications:

Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I/II) are a plus.

Experience with additional DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) is beneficial.

Experience with Salesforce DX and deployment strategies for large-scale orgs. 

Required Skills:

• Experience in systems administration, SRE or DevOps focused role

• Good understanding of the Linux operating system and networking concepts.
• Demonstrated competency with the following AWS services: ECS, EC2, EBS, EKS, S3, RDS, ELB, IAM, Lambda.

• Experience with managing and scaling Kubernetes clusters in a production environment
• Experience building scalable infrastructure in AWS with Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of Protocol-level such as HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP, DNS, and LDAP

• Expertise in leveraging Automation / DevOps principles, experience with operational tools, and able to apply best practices for infrastructure and software deployment (Ansible).
• HAProxy, Nginx, SSH, MySQL configuration and operation experience

• Ability to produce and maintain written documentation

• 2+ years work experience in a DevOps or similar role
• Knowledge of OO programming and concepts (Java, C++, C#, Python)
• A drive towards automating repetitive tasks (e.g., scripting via Bash, Python, etc)
• Fluency in one or more scripting languages such as Python or Ruby.
• Familiarity with Microservice-based architectures
• Practical experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes/ECS)
• In-depth, hands-on experience with Linux, networking, server, and cloud architectures.
• Experience with CI/CD tools Azure DevOps, AWS cloud formation, Lamda functions, Jenkins, and Ansible

• Hands-on knowledge on various CI-CD tools (Jenkins/TeamCity, Artifactory, UCD, Bitbucket/Github, SonarQube) including setting up of build-deployment automated pipelines.
• Very good knowledge in scripting tools and languages such as Shell, Perl or Python , YAML/Groovy, build tools such as Maven/Gradle.
• Hands-on knowledge in containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Good knowledge in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet/Chef and have worked on setting up of monitoring tools (Splunk/Geneos/New Relic/Elk).
•             Expertise in job schedulers/workload automation tools such as Control-M or AutoSys is good to have.
• Hands-on knowledge on Cloud technology (preferably GCP) including various computing services and infrastructure setup using Terraform.

• Should have basic understanding on networking, certificate management, Identity and Access Management and Information security/encryption concepts.
• •             Should support day-to-day tasks related to platform and environments upkeep such as upgrades, patching, migration and system/interfaces integration.
• •             Should have experience in working in Agile based SDLC delivery model, multi-task and support multiple systems/apps.
• •             Big-data and Hadoop ecosystem knowledge is good to have but not mandatory.

• Should have worked on standard release, change and incident management tools such as ServiceNow/Remedy or similar

• Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in managing AWS resources and automating CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Python or Bash be able to build and administer CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of infrastructure tools like Cloud Formation, Terraform, Ansible.
• Experience with microservices and/or event-driven architecture.
• Experience using containerization technologies (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, Mesos or Vagrant).
• Strong practical Windows and Linux system administration skills in the cloud.
• Understanding of DNS, NFS, TCP/IP and other protocols.
• Knowledge of secure SDLC, OWASP top 10 and CWE/SANS top 25.
• Deep understanding of Web Sockets and their functioning. Hands on experience of ElasticCache, Redis, ECS or EKS. Installation, configuration and management of Apache or Nginx web server, Apache/Tomcat Application Server, configure SSL certificates, setup reverse proxy.
• Exposure to RDBMS (MySQL, SQL Server, Aurora, etc.) is a plus.
• Exposure to programming languages like JAVA, PHP, SQL is a plus.
• AWS Developer or AWS SysOps Administrator certification is a plus.
• AWS Solutions Architect Certification experience is a plus.
• Experience building Blue/Green, Canary or other zero down time deployment strategies, advanced understanding of VPC, EC2 Route53 IAM, Lambda is a plus.

• Experience in handling large production deployments and infrastructure.
• DevOps based infrastructure and application deployments experience.
• Working knowledge of the AWS network architecture including designing VPN solutions between regions and subnets
• Hands-on knowledge with the AWS AMI architecture including the development of machine templates and blueprints
• He/she should be able to validate that the environment meets all security and compliance controls.
• Good working knowledge of AWS services such as Messaging, Application Services, Migration Services, Cost Management Platform.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Understands and can serve as the technical team lead to oversee the build of the Cloud environment based on customer requirements.
