Your Hard Skills

• Minimum 1 years of experience on a dev ops engineering role

• Deep experience with Linux and Unix systems

• Experience with common automation tools (Ex. Chef, Terraform, etc)

• AWS experience is a plus

Position Summary-

 

This role will support the customer implementation of a data quality and reliability product. The candidate is expected to install the product in the client environment, manage proof of concepts with prospects, and become a product expert and troubleshoot post installation, production issues. The role will have significant interaction with the client data engineering team and the candidate is expected to have good communication skills.

 

Required experience

1. 6-7 years experience providing engineering support to data domain/pipelines/data engineers.
2. Experience in troubleshooting data issues, analyzing end to end data pipelines and in working with users in resolving issues
3. Experience setting up enterprise security solutions including setting up active directories, firewalls, SSL certificates, Kerberos KDC servers, etc.
4. Basic understanding of SQL
5. Experience working with technologies like S3, Kubernetes experience preferred.

About the Role

• Build and maintain CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Designing and managing highly scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant infrastructure & networking that forms the backbone of distributed systems at RaRa Delivery.

We are looking for extraordinary infrastructure engineers to build a world class
cloud platform that scales to millions of users. You must have experience
building key portions of a highly scalable infrastructure using Amazon AWS and
should know EC2, S3, EMR like the back of your hand. You must enjoy working
in a fast-paced startup and enjoy wearing multiple hats to get the job done.

Responsibilities
● Manage AWS server farm Own AWS infrastructure automation and
support.
● Own production deployments in multiple AWS environments
● End-end backend engineering infra charter includes Dev ops,Global
deployment, Security and compliances according to latest practices.
Ability to guide the team in debugging production issues and write
best-of-the breed code.
● Drive “engineering excellence” (defects, productivity through automation,
performance of products etc) through clearly defined metrics.
● Stay current with the latest tools, technology ideas and methodologies;
share knowledge by clearly articulating results and ideas to key decision

Requirements
● B.S. or M.S in Computer Science or a related field (math, physics,

docker, nagios, or graphite Deployment automation experience with
Puppet/Chef/Ansible/Salt Stack Work with small, tightly knit product
teams that function cohesively to move as quickly as possible.
● Determination to provide reliable and fault tolerant systems to the

● Experience in developing Java/C++ backend systems is a huge plus Be a
strong team player.

Preferred
Deep working knowledge of Linux servers and networked environments
Thorough understanding of distributed systems and the protocols they use,
including TCP/IP, RESTful APIs, SQL, NoSQL. Experience in managing a NoSQL
database (Cassandra) is a huge plus.

Profile - Sr. DevOps Engineer Experience: 5-8 Years The DevOps team at Druva is chartered with developing infrastructure code that is foundational in deployment and operations of Druva's Saas service. Devops team additionally enables Druva engineers to rapidly innovate by building tools that provide a simple, fast and robust developer experience by simulating a cloud in a box. Our focus centers on creating tooling that streamlines development, testing, building, integration, packaging, and deployment of mutable and immutable artifacts. DevOps engineers are involved in the full life cycle of the application. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of the application’ build, release, deployment and configuration activities as well as contribute to defining the deployment architecture of Druva's saas service. You will automate and streamline our operations and processes involved in those activities. You will leverage existing tools and technologies, preferably the open source ones, to build infrastructure applications needed to support deployment, operation and monitoring of Druva's saas service. At the same time, you won't limit yourself from building such tools whenever off-the-shelf tools aren't adequate. You will continuously focus on improving the deployment design and troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments.
