Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Analyst located in Mumbai.

Please note: This is an onsite role and good communication skills are expected (oral + written)

About the Role

• Work on building, processing and transferring data and dashboards from existing Domo Platform to Power BI Platform.
• Audit existing data systems and deployments and identify errors or areas for improvement.
• Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
• Build Data Documentation and explanation on parameters, filters, models and relationships used in the dashboards.
• Review existing SQL data sources to improve, connect and integrate it effortlessly with Power BI.
• Create, test and deploy Power BI scripts, as well as execute efficient migration practices.
• Work closely with the current analytics team, to define requirements, migration steps and, have an open and transparent communication with the team on reviewing the migrated reports and data sources for successful outcomes.
• Ensure all dashboards and data sources are thoroughly reviewed by the team before publishing to the production environment.
• Convert business needs into technical specifications and establish a timeline for job completion.

Requirements & Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in using Power BI to run DAX queries and other advanced interactive functions.
• 2+ years of experience with Data Analysis and Data Visualization tools.
• 1+ years of experience working with Relational Databases and building SQL queries.
• Familiarity with Data Collection, Cleaning and Transformation processes.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work with complex datasets.

Specific Responsibilities

• Minimum of 2 years Experience in Google Big Query and Google Cloud Platform.
• Design and develop the ETL framework using BigQuery
• Expertise in Big Query concepts like Nested Queries, Clustering, Partitioning, etc.
• Working Experience of Clickstream database, Google Analytics/ Adobe Analytics.
• Should be able to automate the data load from Big Query using APIs or scripting language.
• Good experience in Advanced SQL concepts.
• Good experience with Adobe launch Web, Mobile & e-commerce tag implementation.
• Identify complex fuzzy problems, break them down in smaller parts, and implement creative, data-driven solutions
• Responsible for defining, analyzing, and communicating key metrics and business trends to the management teams
• Identify opportunities to improve conversion & user experience through data. Influence product & feature roadmaps.
• Must have a passion for data quality and be constantly looking to improve the system. Drive data-driven decision making through the stakeholders & drive Change Management
• Understand requirements to translate business problems & technical problems into analytics problems.

About The Role

· Provide support on Campaign Measurement, Brand Lift studies, Reporting and other data needs (ingestion, cleaning, delivery etc.)

· Code in SQL, Python to create reports and build dashboards.

· Use Bigquery, Python, Datalab (GCP) and automate recurring workloads to improve efficiency

· Maintain underlying data infrastructure and troubleshoot data issues

· Generate meaningful insights from data using advanced analytics/statistical techniques and create dashboards and presentations for wider teams.

Daily and monthly responsibilities

• Review and coordinate with business application teams on data delivery requirements.
• Develop estimation and proposed delivery schedules in coordination with development team.
• Develop sourcing and data delivery designs.
• Review data model, metadata and delivery criteria for solution.
• Review and coordinate with team on test criteria and performance of testing.
• Contribute to the design, development and completion of project deliverables.
• Complete in-depth data analysis and contribution to strategic efforts
• Complete understanding of how we manage data with focus on improvement of how data is sourced and managed across multiple business areas.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.

Skills and Qualifications we look for

• University degree 2.1 or higher (or equivalent) in a relevant subject. Master’s degree in any data subject will be a strong advantage.

• Strong coding ability and software development experience in Python.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Data Processing.
• Google cloud platform (Cloud composer, Dataflow, Cloud function, Bigquery, Cloud storage, dataproc)
• Good working experience in any one of the ETL tools (Airflow would be preferable).
