Job Description: Software Developer

Position Overview:

As a Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of innovative software solutions. You will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and debugging applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products. • Key Responsibilities:

1. Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain software applications in accordance with project requirements and coding standards. Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using appropriate technologies and programming languages.

2. System Architecture: Contribute to the design and architecture of software systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to design robust solutions that meet business objectives.

3. Testing and Debugging: Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure software quality and reliability. Identify and resolve software defects promptly, documenting issues and solutions as necessary.

4. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand project requirements, provide technical insights, and deliver high-quality software solutions on time.

5. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software engineering. Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance team productivity and product quality.

6. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation including design specifications, system architecture diagrams, and user manuals. Ensure documentation is accurate, comprehensive, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

7. Communication: Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to provide status updates, discuss technical solutions, and address challenges. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment built on trust, respect, and open communication.

• Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.

- Proven experience in software development, with expertise in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript.

- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, and data structures.

- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.

- Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g., Git) and development tools (e.g., IDEs, debuggers).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate in a team environment.

- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

Additional Desired Skills :

- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

- Knowledge of web development frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Django, Flask).

- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Understanding of DevOps practices and tools for automation (e.g., CI/CD pipelines).

- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).

- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

• 15+ years of Experience in OFSAA Financial Solution Data Foundation and OFSAA Regulatory reporting solutions
• Expert in enterprise solution architecture and design
• Strong understanding in the OFSAA Data Model, Dimension Management and Enterprise Data Warehouse Knowledge.
• Strong Understanding of OFSAA instrument balances reconciliation with General Ledger Summary Level balances
• Experience in defining and build the OFSAA data architecture and sourcing strategy to ensure data accuracy, integrity and quality.
• Understanding of Banking treasury products, US Fed regulatory etc.
• Strong understanding of data lineage. building
• Strong in OFSAA Data Management Tools Knowledge (F2T/T2T/PLT/SCD’s).
• Experience in Business rules configurations in OFSAA framework
• Strong Experience in deploying OFSAA platform (OFSAAI – OFSAA Infrastructure) and installation of OFSAA application - preferably OFSAA 8.x onwards.

Responsibilities and Duties

Requirement -

  Minimum 3 Years Experience.

  Knowledge in Custom PHP, Codeigniter, Laravel

  Knowledge in MYSQL

  Knowledge in HTML5, CSS3

  Knowledge in Web API & Rest API

  Knowledge in Third Party API Integration

Must have:

 2+ years of development experience in Microsoft Dynamics NAV/BC (ERP

software)

 Experience with Test-Driven-Development

 Experience in the connection of APIs

 In-depth knowledge and experience in AL and/or C/AL, Visual Studio Code,

Azure DevOps, Git

 Very good communication skills (read, write, speak)

 Team player with a strong willingness to tackle things together

 Availability to travel if needed

Nice to have:

 Good knowledge of software architecture

 Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Azure platform

 Knowledge of quality assurance and documentation

 Experience in working in agile teams using Scrum

 Writing and implementing test automation in AL

 PowerShell, and MS SQL Server

 Ideally knowledge of or interest in acquiring knowledge of the extended

Microsoft 365 stack: C# development, Azure Functions, Microsoft Power

Automate (Microsoft Flow) / Microsoft Power Apps

Must be very strong in UI framework (Angular) 

·        Good understanding of core JavaScript and OOJS concepts.

·        Working experience in Web services (SOAP/Restful) integration, failure analysis etc...

·        Hands-on development experience using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS 3, AJAX, JSON, Bootstrap, Angular.

·        Full stack development experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API.
