Sr Graphic Designer

As part of the Design team at Codemonk, we build seamless customer experiences for various digital products. We are looking for someone who can achieve this by integrating multiple functions of visual design on product and offline, brand and marketing design and communication, and content strategy into one.

Requirements

• 3 - 4 years of experience as a UI-UX Designer, or similar.
• Good knowledge in high fidelity mockup and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD or equivalent.
• Must have a portfolio showcasing recent works as live experiences or preferably in the form of prototypes demonstrating your breadth and depth in UX and visual design.
• Having a Bachelor's, Master's, or postgraduate degree in a design field is a plus.

• Someone who has demonstrated experience in designing interfaces for consumer experiences at scale.
• Solid in design theory, principles of UI design and usability.
• Someone with an eye for crafting visually appealing designs with high levels of usability.
• Strong in interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to create illustrations is a plus.

What will you do?

• Produce concepts for layouts and develop them based on the feedback given.
• Design wireframes, storyboards, user flows, site maps as per the pre-defined standards and needs.
• Design web and mobile apps with responsiveness.
• Proactively identify gaps or improvement areas in the problem definitions you are working on.
• Ship the UI in accordance with the guidelines while maintaining the highest standards in visual aesthetics and reinforcing a brand’s style or voice.
• Work with developers to communicate the specs and ensure correct implementation of the design.
• Supervising and guiding the junior designers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Taking ownership of building out and extending campaigns across different touchpoints

• Will advocate for a good user experience across our digital touchpoints, ranging from website, social media, newsletters, etc.

• Identify the tools, templates and techniques that evolve existing approaches for the larger creative community
• Closely working with marketing team understanding the exact requirement for the creative & tech part
• You will conceptualize and design original ideas that bring simplicity and ease of use to complex design issues.
• Design and development (Design/HTML/CSS.) emails, landing pages and other digital assets.
• Will Manage social media post Design, SEO pages design & html Part, Responsive Emailer.
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to Marketing.

• Research, assist and present new ideas for a variety of creative marketing campaigns.

Required Skills:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of UI/UX experience in product companies.
• Outstanding UI abilities, a keen eye for good design shown, and an extensive portfolio of live projects.
• Good Knowledge Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Adobe XD, Figma, HTML5,
• Deep knowledge of Modern UI patterns
• A deep understanding of the end-to-end iterative UX process (personas, scenarios, wireframing, and high-fidelity visuals).
• Understanding of principles of visual design and composition, gestalt’s laws, colour theory, laws of UX, etc.
• Understanding of implementation challenges across mobile (iOS and Android), web and hybrid solutions. Working knowledge of responsive grids.
• Proficiency in responsive web designing and knowledge about HTML and CSS
• Proficiency in rapid prototyping.
• Deep understanding of brand, visual design, user experience and digital marketing to design beautiful and intuitive experiences
• Desire to work in a fast-paced start-up environment & immerse in an amazing learning experience-
• Experience of working with product-based companies will be preferred
• Understanding of financial products in equity space is a plus
• Proven ability to develop creative solutions for ambiguously defined problems

UI/UX Developer cum designer Job Responsibilities

• UI developers should be adept at Javascript /AJAX / JQuery / Material Design.
• UX designers should have firsthand knowledge of Digital Advertising / dashboard designing with business requirements in mind.
• For both, UX & UI designers with experience in Ad agencies / Native Ads / IAB standards implementation would be a plus.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering team to define, adapt and implement innovative solutions to carry forward product visual direction and experience
• Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand- off to engineering
• Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
• Effectively communicate interaction and design ideas using prototyping tools eg: invision, after effects etc
• Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
• Create production- ready assets by proficiently using standard industry tools, like Photoshop, creative cloud, illustrator, fireworks, Adobe Xd, Email templates, HTML5/ CSS3, Figma, InDesign and/ or sketch

• Strong front- end web development experience with HTML5/ CSS3, JQuery, Bootstrap for UI developers
• Solid understanding object- oriented programming
• Should have experience in Chart Libraries
• Previous experience designing, developing and deploying solutions that involve integration using well- published APIs (JSON or XML data transfer knowledge integrating with RESTful services. etc.).
• Both UX and UI developers, should have experience in creating designs for various device sizes.
• Should have good understanding of aspect ratio, browser compatibility and image transformations
• should possess good analytical and communication skills. Able to write and communicate effectively motivated to work in startup environment

Experience:

• Candidate should have minimum 1 year experience in UI UX Designing.
• Must have a Dribbble & Behance portfolio

1) Design clear engaging graphic communications for the app, social media and print - this includes UI/ UX, event webpages, brand promotional items, in-app games, etc. 

2) Illustrates the concept by designing a rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type, size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.

3) Work closely with operations, marketing, and content team to translate their messaging concepts into graphic/visual material

4) Design & create graphics images, GIFs & Ads, etc. for Social Media Platforms.

5) Grow online social networks by acquiring a new fan-base and increasing interactions via designs.

6) Understand the requirement and develop quality graphics, Work on all aspects of design.

7) Should have experience of leading creative/Design team of Min. 7. 

Other Requirements:

1) Should have excellent knowledge of Video/Audio and Live streaming applications.

2) Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design

3) Knowledge of Animate CC and After Effects is a plus.

• Ideal candidate should have 4-7 years of hands-on product design experience with mobile and web products, and proven leadership and team-building skills.
•  An outstanding portfolio that showcases your foundation in ideation, visual design, interaction and delivery
• Ability to understand and analyze user needs and conduct frequent, iterative usability testing in parallel with development. 
• Highly proficient with designing & prototyping tools like Sketch, Zeplin, Balsamiq, llustrator / Photoshop. 
• Deep understanding of design methodologies, principles and visual design.
• Someone with a MDes from any premium design colleges with 4-5 years of experience or a Bachelor with minimum 5 years of experience
• Strong in visual UI skills and have basic knowledge of UX.
