Job Description:

MulticoreWare Inc develops heterogeneous software for Media and Automotive markets. It develops and licenses world-class video codec libraries, such as the widely used x265 (open-source HEVC encoding library) and supports tier-1 global streaming video services and video encoding solution providers.

As a Senior SW Engineer/Technical Lead, you will join MulticoreWare’s growing team of world-class engineers, and architects in its offices at Chennai, India, to implement, and deliver solutions in video pipelines and products. Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, test, and deliver production-quality software, architected for problems in video pipelines of internal and customer IPs
• Lead the execution and implementation of product features with a small team of engineers and mentor the junior engineers within the team
• Conduct meticulous code-reviews to ensure bug-free and high-quality deliverables.
• Contribute towards product release cycles by developing tests deployed in continuous integration frameworks, fixing bugs identified during release, etc.
• Interface with customers, support customer evaluations of products and debugging of customer issues

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with 5 + years’ experience, or a Master’s degree in similar areas with 3+ years’ experience
• Excellent C/C++ development and debugging experience in creating production-grade software on Windows and Unix-based platforms
• Hands-on experience in video coding with an in-depth knowledge of HEVC, AVC, VP9, AV1 and VVC 
• Strong interest in video/imaging technologies, including video/image compression, analytics, and streaming/delivery
• Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills, with a meticulous attention to detail
• Working knowledge of code management systems such as Git and Bitbucket
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with continuous integration frameworks like Jenkins
• Experience with heterogeneous programming libraries such as OpenCL, CUDA
• Experience with platform-specific software optimizations like SIMD to enable higher performance software
• Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Experience in interacting with geographically distributed teams for reviews and meetings

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Acquire and activate travel agents through various channels like office visits, telephone, email, social networks, events & meetings.

• Establish, grow, and maintain commercial ties with travel agents—both current and potential —in the designated territory to attract new partners for our services.

• Create a sales funnel, identify the right leads, define long-term goals, and engage in strategic business planning.

• Align sales activities with tele-sales team, product, marketing, and customer success team.

• Build in-depth understand of our products and give demos or solve product queries to convert agents.

Experience and Skills you MUST have:

• At least 4 years sales experience in the travel industry

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Prior experience in acquiring travel agents or in visas or insurance is a big plus

• Proficient with using CRMs and google sheets

Skills:

• Proficient in Go programming language with experience in building high-performance, scalable applications
• Experience with Java development a plus
• Familiarity with Git version control systems (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket, SVN)
• Solid understanding of RESTful web services APIs
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins
• Experience with NoSQL databases
• Experience working with PostgreSQL databases

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and efficient Go code
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy new features
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high code quality
• Troubleshoot and debug complex technical problems
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Go and related technologies

• Get involved in the entire customer lifecycle from on-boarding through the duration of their subscription period 
• Provide product training to enable the customers to realize the potential of the company
• Identify product usage gaps and provide actionable solutions to the customers 
• Build value-based relationships with customers and create company champions 
• Conduct Strategic Business Reviews (EBRs and QBRs) to understand customer lifecycle milestones, communicate the value of our product, showcase ROI, 
• Drive desired customer outcomes through a consultative approach 
• Ensure customer retention by negotiating and closing renewals 
• Identify opportunities of upselling and cross-selling along with the Account Managers 
• Identify appropriate business use cases where the company can be deployed 
• Establish deployment goals and desired success outcomes and then develop a plan to carry them out successfully 
• Have a strong business sense to keep looking out for new use cases and solutions using a company to create a win-win situation with customers 
• Communicate and brain-storm with the product team on customer feedback and help refine product roadmap 
• Work with the marketing team to execute customer surveys, case studies, etc 
• Identify and Process Success milestones for the customers 
• Optimize existing processes within the company and actively enhance all Customer Success initiatives 
• Drive customer advocacy through reviews, testimonials, customer meetups; and create a center of excellence within the customer's organization 

Our ideal Customer Success Manager: 

• Has relevant 3 to 7 years of work experience (CSM - 3 to 5 yrs; Sr CSM - 4 to 6 yrs; Lead or Principal CSM - More than 7 yrs)  in a high-touch Customer Success / Strategic Consulting role in a B2B SaaS or Tech Product based company 
• Being an organization that believes in a flat hierarchy, we have only 1 people manager per region for the CS team and everyone else, including those with 15+ yrs of Customer Facing experience add value to the company and its customers in the capacity of an individual contributor 
• Should be open to aligning with the US / EU time zone (5 PM to 2:00 AM / 1 PM to 10 PM IST). Note - The company does provide free lunch + dinner, and a cab drop facility with an additional allowance for the ones working in the US time zone. 
• Showcases exemplary written and verbal communication skills to work along with Global Customers 
• Has worked directly with Large Enterprise Customers in the Americas or European region  
• Has an exceptional ability to communicate and foster positive business relationships
• Demonstrates a deep understanding of customers concerns and thoughts regarding the use of products
