Creative Director – Role Overview
The Creative Director will be the custodian of Miror’s voice, ideas, and big creative thinking. This role is deeply rooted in conceptual leadership, copywriting excellence, and brand storytelling, with the ability to translate insight-led ideas into powerful campaigns across platforms.
While hands-on design is not the core focus, a strong understanding of design, visual language, and production is a valuable bonus, enabling better collaboration and sharper creative outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Creative & Conceptual Leadership
· Own and shape Miror’s creative vision, ensuring every idea, campaign, and message is insight-driven, distinctive, and on brand.
· Lead concept development for brand campaigns, launches, content properties, films, social-first ideas, and integrated marketing initiatives.
· Translate brand strategy into compelling creative territories, narratives, and big ideas that scale across platforms.
· Push for originality, clarity, and emotional resonance in all creative output.
Copywriting & Brand Voice
· Define, refine, and protect Miror’s tone of voice, messaging frameworks, and storytelling approach.
· Write and oversee high-impact copy across brand campaigns, websites, scripts, social content, product narratives, headlines, and long-form storytelling.
· Elevate everyday communication into brand-defining moments through sharp language and strong conceptual thinking.
· Ensure consistency, confidence, and depth across all written communication.
Campaign Thinking & Execution
· Lead end-to-end creative thinking for integrated campaigns—from idea to execution—working closely with design, marketing, product, and growth teams.
· Guide creative translation across formats including digital, social, print, outdoor, films, events, and experiential.
· Ensure ideas are not only creatively strong but also strategically aligned and execution-ready.
Cross-functional Collaboration
· Partner closely with designers, marketers, content creators, product teams, and leadership to bring ideas to life seamlessly.
· Collaborate with external agencies, freelancers, writers, filmmakers, and production partners when required.
· Act as the creative bridge between strategy, storytelling, and execution.
Creative Team Leadership & Mentorship
· Lead, mentor, and inspire writers, designers, and creative team members.
· Provide clear creative direction, constructive feedback, and high-level guidance.
· Review and approve creative work to ensure it meets Miror’s standards of excellence.
· Strategic & Cultural Ownership
· Champion creativity as a strategic business tool, not just an aesthetic function.
· Stay deeply attuned to culture, trends, content formats, consumer behavior, and emerging storytelling platforms.
· Continuously raise the creative bar while remaining rooted in purpose, empathy, and relevance.
What We’re Looking For
Experience
· 8–10 years of experience in a creative leadership role with a strong focus on copywriting, concepts, and brand storytelling.
· Experience working on brand-led, insight-driven campaigns across multiple channels.
· Agency experience is a strong bonus, especially in roles involving concepting, campaign thinking, or brand strategy.
· Prior experience leading, mentoring, or managing creative teams.
Core Skills & Expertise
· Exceptional copywriting and conceptual thinking skills—headlines, scripts, long-form content, and brand narratives.
· Strong understanding of brand strategy, positioning, and communication systems.
· Ability to think in ideas first, then translate them across formats and platforms.
· Comfort working closely with designers and understanding how copy and visuals work together.
· Strong presentation and articulation skills—able to sell ideas internally and externally.
Design & Production (Bonus)
· Design experience or a strong understanding of visual design principles is a bonus, not a requirement.
· Familiarity with design workflows, production processes, and creative tools is an advantage.
· Ability to guide visual execution through feedback rather than hands-on design.
Education
· Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Design, or equivalent practical experience.
Personal Attributes
· Big-picture thinker with sharp attention to detail.
· Emotionally intelligent storyteller with cultural sensitivity.
· Confident creative leader who can challenge, inspire, and elevate teams.
