Frontend Engineer (Next.js / React / TypeScript)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Frontend Engineer with deep expertise in Next.js, React, and TypeScript to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable, modern web applications, with strong knowledge of Tailwind CSS for styling and proficiency in integrating with MongoDB backends and AI/LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI). You will work closely with backend engineers and AI specialists to build seamless user interfaces that power cutting-edge AI-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain frontend features using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Implement responsive and scalable UI components with Tailwind CSS.
• Integrate with backend APIs built on MongoDB and other data sources.
• Work with AI/LLM APIs (OpenAI, LangChain, etc.) to deliver intelligent, context-aware features.
• Collaborate with backend and AI engineers to ensure efficient data flow and optimal performance.
• Write clean, reusable, and testable code with strong attention to detail.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and product design discussions.

Required Skills/Qualifications

• Strong proficiency with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Tailwind CSS and modern component-based UI development.
• Familiarity with integrating MongoDB backends into frontend applications.
• Experience consuming AI APIs (OpenAI, HuggingFace, etc.).
• Understanding of REST and GraphQL API consumption.
• Strong problem-solving skills, debugging, and optimization techniques.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Experience with SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and ISR (Incremental Static Regeneration) in Next.js.
• Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Recoil, etc.).
• Exposure to vector databases or AI-driven UI personalization.
• Prior experience working in a SaaS or data-heavy application environment.

Job Location - Hyderabad & Ahmedabad

What you'll do:

· Perform complex application programming activities with an emphasis on mobile development: Angular, ionic, Node, TypeScript, JavaScript, Apache Cordova, RESTful APIs and more

· Assist in the definition of system architecture and detailed solution design that are scalable and extensible

· Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and other engineers on different permutations to find the best solution possible

· Own the quality of code and do your own testing. Automate feature testing and contribute UI testing framework

· Become a subject matter expert for our mobile applications

· Deliver amazing solutions to production that knock everyone’s socks off

· Mentor junior developers on the team

Preferred Qualifications:

· Proficient with Apache Cordova framework

· Built or maintained custom Cordova plugin

· Demonstrable knowledge of native coding background in iOS

· Understanding of Apple certificate and profile management

· Experience developing and deploying applications within Kubernetes based containers

· Experience in Agile and SCRUM development techniques

Responsibilities:

• Be a key player in the entire application development lifecycle, build and maintain excellent react applications with clean code
• Formulating an effective process to implement pixel-perfect UI's that match designs.
• Generating front-end libraries and reusable components for later use. 
• Maximizing performance of components across a wide range of web-capable devices and browsers Skills.
• Working in collaboration with the team members and project managers to develop clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience.
• Create and maintain workflow with the team for implementing and integrating the third-party APIs and work along with the backend team.
• Flexible in working with a small team of frontend-backend developers, a project manager, and other programmers.
• Liaise with the internal team to produce top-notch prototypes and mock-ups.
• Participating in concepts of new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry development trends and assisting team members for development.
• An understanding of common programming paradigms and fundamental React principles, similar as React components, hooks, and the React lifecycle.
• Discussing and implementing new project management ideas with team and problem-solving skills to overcome obstacles.
• Keep abreast with day to day developments in technology and working with native modules.
• Assist with building estimates and assume accountability for your job and results delivery.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, computer applications or related fields.
• Proven working experience as a React Developer for 3+ years and above.
• Hands-on experience on  HTML5, CSS3, and  CSS frameworks.
• Demonstrable knowledge on  Web services, Web API, REST services & GraphQL.
• Expertise in UI design and development of responsive web applications using React, Redux, Flask and Hooks.
• Applicable knowledge on Social API integration, Core location APIs, Web Views, Payments integration
• Proficiency in understanding of layout aesthetics .
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and multitasking skills.
• Ability to solve novel and challenging React problems.
• Capability to understand ,develop and sustain continuous integration and delivery.
